Today, while I was logged in to my account in Earn2Life’s website I decided to take a look at how much Linden Dollars my apprentices have made with Earn2Life. I have been a member of Earn2Life for almost 3 years and I can’t remember when or if I have ever taken a look at my apprentices earnings until now. As expected, they too are earning their fair share of Linden Dollars completing tasks and doing in-world offers.

(Some of my apprentices earnings with Earn2Life)
If you look closely at the screenshot above then you will noticed that one of them has even earned a total of 853 L$ and he/she joined only last December 27, 2009. He/she has been very active and has completed a total of 70 Pay4Visit offers. [...continue reading Apprentices Earning Linden Dollars With Earn2Life]

This past week, many Second Life residents suddenly started creating accounts in Avatars United which is a Social Networking Website for Avatars. After the announcement of Linden Lab’s acquisition of Avatars United, Second Life residents, like Lemmings, started joining in.

Avatars United, Kabalyero Kidd’s Profile Page
I first joined Avatars United in 2008 but never really did anything in it except add a few Avatars from various MMORPGs and posted a couple of blog entries. In fact, if it wasn’t for Linden Lab’s acquisition and announcement then I would have totally forgotten that a Social Networking Website named Avatars United exist specially now that I’ve rediscovered Facebook. It’s the end of the month and, once again, it’s time to post how my sales did for the month of January 2010. I’m not doing this to brag about my sales. No, because there is nothing to brag about it. Compared to more popular and bigger merchants and creators, the amount I make each month is laughable. I do this to help me gauge how my sales performed in each alternative online Second Life marketplaces in the period covered.

In XStreetSL, my most popular item for January 2010 was the Close Wooden Fence. I sold 8 copies of it. Unfortunately, I didn’t make much money from it because it was only L$ 48 but it still made me a total of L$ 368. [...continue reading My January 2010 Sales Report]

Metaplace said in their website that they were working on new stuff that is going be “redonkulous”! I have no idea what they meant about “redonkulous” but thanks to the Urban Dictionary I learned that “redonkulous” means: 1. significantly more absurd than ridiculous to an almost impossible, 2. fitted to excite absolute ridicule; intentionally crazy and silly; completely absurd and laughable, 3. something so out of control, so over the top that it takes ridiculous to the next level, 4. greater than ridiculous, 5. and a few more other definitions.

Well, a few days ago I learned that they have just released their very first Flash Game in Facebook and they named it Island Life. The game is a farming game where you plant crops and raise animals. If you are Facebook user then I am sure that you will be very familiar with this kind of game. Examples of which are Farmville, Farm Town, Country Life, Island Paradise, Farm Life and Islander. A couple of days ago, while spending a few moments at my place in Second Life I asked my friend Mayumi if I can take a few snapshots of her. Mayumi has a very beautiful looking avatar and I was going to use the snapshots on the header of Shopping Lifestyle Merchants, a site that features items from the various alternative Second Life online marketplaces like metaLIFE.

Mayumi works as a DJ for Hire in Second Life. She also spends a few minutes of her precious time playing her tunes at 3 Stars and a Sun. [...continue reading DJ Mayumi Ushimawa]

Barong Tagalog is my country’s National Costume for men and, in my early days in Second Life while learning how to create T-Shirts, I’ve always wanted to make my own Barong Tagalog for my avatar. A few days ago, I finally made one using my own clothing template and I’ve been wearing it since. I even bought a new pair of formal shoes to go along with it.

The Barong Tagalog comes in jacket layer only. There is no point in creating a shirt or undershirt version since Barong Tagalogs are worn untucked. For those who wish to own a copy they can do so buy purchasing it from my shop in-world, 3 Stars and a Sun, or from my listing in metaLIFE. Don’t worry if you are tight on cash because this Barong Tagalog of mine will only cost you 98L$. [...continue reading My First Barong Tagalog]
