Arrggghhhh! After downloading that 1.13 GB ZIP file of Rappelz from File Planet, finally, I was able to install and play Rappelz for a few hours (4 at least).

My first character is a Gaian Male named Kabalyero. He spawned in an island for newly created characters which is basically a training island. Instinctively, I made Kabalyero attack the first low level monster I saw which was a monster called Little Rooster which shouldn’t be called little because it was as big as my character. LOL! After gaining 2 levels from killing Little Roosters, I then noticed a dot on my mini-map. Can you guess what it was? It’s an NPC for beginners. The NPC has some information that is very useful for first time players like myself. In fact, the training island is very informative. It was my first time playing Rappelz but as I finish each training session I learn more and more about the game without consulting the website for information. I believe there are still a lot more to learn in this game but the training sessions are quite enough to make a total newbie get started with the game easily.

I made Kabalyero stay on the island until level 13. He went through all the Quest and Trainings the island can offer and learned a few skills in the process. The only thing he wasn’t able to do was ride. Ha ha ha! Yup, you can ride certain monsters in this game.
