But yes the dupe pretty much ruined the game's economy. Not by the founder of the dupe but the kid who found out about it and raised all kinds of hell on the server for his own personal gains. The person who ruined it was Enterprise_USA, he's from Texas. He used to stalk the forums all the time, till I believe he was banned :P Too bad no one from IGG would ever read this post.
