During one of my few battlefield encounters, I accidentally hit a teammate’s ship which gave me a notoriety of -1. It also changed my name to pink and a pink name spells trouble in Voyage Century Online. Having your name in pink means that friendly NPC ships and city guards will or might attack you and if you are killed by them then it’s prison time for your character. Now, I don’t want that to happen. I don’t want to go to prison.

The teammate I hit was also a guildmate named Highoctane. I accidentally rammed his ship instead of a pirate ship but after that happened I did not leave the scene. I continued to fight until I was sunk by Pirate Boss Ship. Actually, I was sunk by a Peg Leg Pirate Ship but only after taking too many damage from the Pirate Boss.

Lucky for me, I spawned in a Pirate Island and not in a City. I think it was Malorca Island. There I took the opportunity to remove my -1 notoriety and to do that, I need to pray. After praying for 3 minutes, my notoriety was back to 0 and my name was in blue color once more.
