It’s a sad day for everyone in RPG Empire specially those who are part of Samurai Japan because in less than ten days the sim known as Samurai Japan, together with another sim, will be closed. Seriously, the notice came as a surprise to me because I thought, when Ireland and Scottland were closed, that no other RPG Empire sim will be closed as stated in a notice but I guess I was too naive to believe it.

The reason stated as to why Samurai Japan is closing is that it simply just died. Aw! I guess it just didn’t receive the support it desperately need. I remember a group notice from the Empress saying that only one fighter came to participate in a scheduled tournament and only two came to join a raid. I’ve been fishing with 7Seas for a couple of months now, I think, and I’m really enjoying it. I don’t win that much anymore that’s because I don’t join that many contest anymore as well but I still enjoy fishing a lot.

Today, Medieval England (Medevil England Sim) held a Jousting Tournament. The first time I’ve seen jousting in Medieval England was during their I LOVE ME Tournament and it was the second event of the tournament. This time, it’s all about jousting. No archery and no melee fights. Just jousting!

The announcement was sent an hour before the tournament start but surprisingly only a few knights came. I’m guessing that many of them are busy doing various quests like saving a damsel or slaying a dragon. Anyway, the tournament continued as scheduled. Today, I was greeted by an item discussion notification from Xstreet SL. I was surprised because I don’t remember registering in any website named Xstreet SL. So, I went to check it out and again I was surprised because the link took me to SLExchange. It seems that SLExchange has changed their name to Xstreet SL but that’s not why we are here. LOL!

The link opened up the item discussion page for my item listing named *KK* Free Fish and Gear Board and there was a comment from a police wannabe in Second Life named Dannoth Dagger. His comment was, “Idiot, take this crap off SLX now…” Nice, a very un-idiotic comment. I never thought that offering Free 7Seas Fishes and Gears is an idiotic move but I guess for real idiots, it is. The fourth day of the 100,000L$ Tournament will be held at Dark Century on October 04, 2008 at exactly 12:00PM SLT (Second Life Time). To prepare Dark Century for the event, the owner of the sim, mikeD Streeter, removed the old arena and replaced it with a much bigger and better one.

Dark Century’s New Arena

The new arena is a creation of Marcello Oh and it’s twice as big and twice as dark as the old one. I like the old arena but it was a little bit crowded. The new arena has twice the space of the old. This will give the fighers some freedom to move around and avoid getting hit.
