Voyage Century is a great game but what makes it bad is the company publishing it. There is another version of Voyage Century and it’s called Bounty Bay Online but this one has a monthly subscription.

I am from Magellan Server and right now its getting more and more stupid. They introduced an update which totally made some gamers quit.

1. Shortened the chat length
2. Increased guild fees to 10 times. 400k a day? after update 3-5M. Smaller guild folded.
3. Phase 3 skills 101-120 above atm can be availed thru IM only for 2,000 IM points(no typo). Around $100 only for 1 skill.
4. I could go on and on… but you get the picture…

me and my friend might be the strongest pinoy in magellan but we are thinking of quitting.

in fact i dont think a wonderfull thing to happen even most people like me hate this game - we just there for friendship. ?gg is selling almost all items to exp in IM - autoscrolls, treasures and all others. anyone who can pay can exp others have to work alot and have to afk alot ( for voyage or for weaponor for others)

Yup, it’s tough to make your in-game buddies to join you in another game. Before I stopped playing VCO, we were already discussing which game to move to but as individuals, we have different taste in games so that idea didn’t do very well.

I was surprised to learn that one of my Khan Online guild mate is here in Second Life and I think he is doing better than me. Good for him!

That’s what sucks about a lot of MMORPGs. They fall apart after a while… I’ve been wanting to get into a ton of them, but I’m a little hesitant. Partially because I want a friend to be with me (and -none- of them are as into games as I am), but also because I wonder how long it’s going to last. So, I end up playing single-player RPGs instead. It’ll probably be that way for a long, long time.
