As promised, I made a simple video of the Gladiator Fights that I’ve witnessed at The Roman Empire. The video is more than 4 minutes long and it contains video clips of some of the fights and some of the Gladiators. It’s also been compressed to save disk space and for ease of upload to YouTube.
I love the way the Black Armored Gladiator cartwheels around his opponent while fighting. I’m not sure but I think the combat animation is controlled by the weapon. If that is correct then different weapons may have different animations. Sorry, if I didn’t confirmed, I’m not really into weapons in Second Life but fighting (as a sport) against other residents look interesting.
If you are interested in becoming a Gladiator then just drop by anytime at The Roman Empire. You will need a Combat System and at The Roman Empire they use DCS2 which you can buy there too.
Did you know that you can earn Linden Dollars by becoming a Gladiator of Rome? How? By joining the fights. The Emperor of Rome awards generous amounts of Linden Dollars to the emerging victor. Remember, you need to be really good to stand a chance so training regularly will surely enhance you combat skills and will take you much closer to the prize!
