Well, I was kinda thinking of what to write today when I suddenly remembered that I was once interviewed by JasonBoom.com and the interview was about blogging and Second Life. If my memory is correct, I received the interview questions last February 12, 2008 and I received it in my Entrecard’s message box. I wasn’t able to respond to it immediately since I don’t always check my message box in Entrecard, well, because most of the time the messages I receive are just spam. When I finally checked it, I saw that he had sent two messages already.

In his message, he said that he wanted to talk about marketing their sites and services in Second Life and I guess the interview would give him additional insights to what Second Life really is. Anyway, the interview questions weren’t that difficult to answer and the answers I gave were all based on my personal understanding and experience with Second Life.

Will your blog explode in Second Life? Why not? But like everything else, it will take a lot of work. You must also provide something that is of value to the Second Life community. This can be anything from “making money in Second Life” to “fashion trends and reviews”. As for me, I try to focus on my in-world experiences and on in-world things that I find interesting like making money or earning linden dollars, camping, exploring new places and others.

You must also try to take advantage of the social aspects of Second Life. Remember, Second Life is not just a game it is a world with thousands of people literally living a virtual life. Just think of the traffic that you can get if you can make, even just, a few hundreds of those thousands become readers of your blog. It will not be easy but it is also not impossible.
