Remember my post about Samurai Japan? You know, mikeD Streeter’s newest RP (Role Play) Sim which is also part of what is now known in Second Life as the RPG Empire. Well, the good Emperor of Samurai Japan kinda gave me a cool title which is “Scribe of Japan”. LOL!

Anyway, I’ve recently created a few items that might help those new to Samurai Japan get started. The items I created are not Super Duper Mega Complex like those you’ll see from the more active members of the empire but I think they’re good enough to get newbies to the region started.

Male Kimono

Let’s start with the Kimono. I created a Kimono for those male avatars new to Samurai Japan. Currently, I have one style with two variations; 1. white/red kimono, and 2. white/blue kimono (actually, I have 2 styles but the first style is FREE FOR ALL).

These two male kimonos are FREE to those new to Samurai Japan. You can grab a copy at my new home in Second Life, [Kabalyero Kidd's Castle]. Just touch the pictures and the items will be delivered to you. Just remember to activate the Samurai Japan group first.

Katana

The Katana is the most common sword in Japan. The Katana I created is compatible with the DCS2 system which is the combat system used in Samurai Japan. You can use this Katana as your starting weapon in Samurai Japan until you get a more expensive DCS enhanced Katana.

There are two variations of the Katana I created. The first one is FREE FOR ALL and the second one is FREE to Samurai Japan members only. The difference is that, the second one is much shorter and has a different texture when it’s not drawn or used (sheathed).

Male Geta

The Geta is a traditional wooden sandals or shoes in Japan. It is traditionally worn by Japanese men and women. By the way, these is FREE FOR ALL!

Hopefully, these items will help those newbies to Samurai Japan get started (specially those who are kinda short in Linden Dollars) but if you can afford (or if you are looking) to buy more expensive Japanese outfits to make your avatar look more unique then you are in luck because there are many vendors and shops in Samurai Japan that sells all kinds of stuff.

Again, these items are FREE for those new to Samurai Japan (and also for those who currently can’t afford to buy the more expensive stuff). Just join the Samurai Japan group, activate it and drop by my castle, [Kabalyero Kidd's Castle], and grab these items FREE.

By the way, if you don’t want to drop by my castle to get them for FREE then you can always buy them at Shop.Onrez and SLExchange.
