A Long and Winding Road
Yeah, I kinda stole that line from a song. ^_^ The photo isn’t showing the real length of this road because my view is limited to 128 meters only but this road starts from the first sim and continues up to the third sim. The shops are laid out on each side of this road.
The River Nile?
Just next to the Long and Winding Road is the Nile River, I think. Near it, we will find the other For Couples Only building. LOL! This river runs through and under the city which is third sim.
The Egyptian City
If you follow the road and the river north then you’ll arrive at the entrance of the Egyptian City which is already in the third cim. You will be greeted by a giant Egyptian Statue which is standing guard right beside the entrance. To enter the city, you must walk inside the tunnel which will take you to a very long stair that leads up to the city.
In the Egyptian City, you will find more commercial and residential structures, the Egyptian Arena and the Egyptian Palace.
The Egyptian Arena
I’m 100% certain that the arena will be the busiest area anywhere in the Egyptian Empire. I’m also certain that fighters and warriors from the other empires will come here to participate in the games.
You see, being a fighter in RPG Empires is very profitable specially if you are really good. Tournaments are held everyday and you can join all of them (if you can) and WIN! Just ask Oki Dufaux, a warrior whos been winning almost all of the tournaments around RPG Empires. I also found out that he also fought at Averlast Boxing and was once a champion there. Ahhh, Averlast. Bad memories! Erase, erase! LOL!
The Egyptian Arena is not as magnificent as the Coliseum of Rome but it’s not as tight as the one in Sparta. I feel that it has enought open space to allow as much free movements as possible.
The Egyptian Palace
Located above the Egyptian Arena is the Palace, home to the Pharoah and Queen of Egypt. The Egyptian Palace is a bit conservative if you ask me. In my opinion, it must be the most grandiose, the most magnificent and the most extravagant structure in all of Egypt because it’s not just home to the royal family, it is also home of a God. ^_^
RP and Combat Rules
As with the other empires, the Egyptian Empire also has its own set of Rules.
Please Read before Combat in Egypt
THESE ARE THE RULES - BY BREAKING THESE RULES, YOU MAY BE EJECTED FROM THE GROUP AND SIM
NO EXCUSES
- DEAD IS DEAD. When you are killed in Combat you must stay dead and dont fight again. Commanders may decide on another round of combat. At that time you may reset your DCS meter. Keep the battles in RP. If you are dead don’t get in the middle of the fight and start fighting again.
- HEALING AND POWERS are not allowed during the fight. Don’t heal others that are still in combat. You must wait till the fight is over and always heal your dead.
- Do not attack a DCS combat fighter that hasn’t rezzed or whose DCS is still loading.
- Personal insults will not be tolerated by either EGYPT or opposing sides + KEEP COMMENTS and INSULTS REGARDING CHEATING TO YOURSELF.
- Respect the other Sim’s combat rules. If you are in another sim, you must play by there rules.
- Archery (Crossbow/Bow & Arrow) is allowed here in Egypt during RP combat.
- Enhanced weapons of any kind are not allowed
- This is Ancient Egypt try to stay somewhat traditional with the weapons.
- NO FLYING, NO GUNS, BOMBS, LIGHT SABRES, GRENADES, ROCKETS, CAGES, ORBITING, INVISIBILITY, PUSH DEVICES.
- Dont RP anything that is not humanly possible. Doing so in combat will render the combat invalid.
The most important thing in RP combat is that we’re all here to have fun, please folow the rules and it will be a better experience for all.
My Day In Egypt Ends
Well, that’s about it in my day in the Egyptian Empire. Wandering around the desert under the burning heat of the sun was kinda fun actually. The region presented an environment which is very different from the other regions in the RPG Empires which are usually grassy plains and mountains but Egypt was all desert. It may not be an exact replica of ancient Egypt but who cares. It’s all about what the region can offer their visitors and here in Egypt the fights alone are worth the visit already.

The [Egyptian Empire] is open to everyone. If you are new to Role Play and Combat then don’t worry, the people of Egypt are more than willing to help you get started. Visit the [Egyptian Empire] today and get to experience the old Egyptian life even if it’s in Second Life.
That’s not all, you’ll get to enjoy this vast desert surrounding! ^_^
