Finally, I received the photos from the very first Fishing Contest held at my place. If you remember, I blogged about 7Seas Fishing Game system a few days ago and I even setup my own 7Seas Fishing Area which is located at the dock.
On June 30, 2008, I decided to have a Fishing Contest and give away 500L$ to the winner. The contest format was Unbaited so that even casual players can join in and it ran for three hours. I think at least 8 people showed up and joined the contest.
The first winner of my very first fishing contest was a furry named Frurry Fluno and I was told that he/she didn’t use a fishing rod but instead he/she used a Sack of Dynamite or TNT. It’s an ultra super rare item which can only caught by a level 5 Pro Fishing Rod. I guess he/she has been fishing for quite some time now.

The contest was overseen by Ryoma and today he sent over three photos of the contest. Why only three? That I don’t know. I guess he is not a photo kind of guy but I do wished that he had taken more.
Anyway, more fishing contests will be held at my place in Second Life. I’ve also placed a Tip/Donation Jar at the fishing area. Tips/Donations received will help fund future Fishing Contests.
