Came In Late But Still Got First Place

While loittering around my place doing absolutely nothing, a group message from 7Seas Social Chat caught my interest. It was about a contest at Summerlands Fishing Pier-7Seas Fishing with a top prize of 500L$. The contest had already started and I was on my Kabalyero Kidd account. So, I quickly logged off and logged in to my fisherman account which is Kabalyero Skytower.

Came late but ended on top!

That process of changing accounts and then teleporting to the location of the contest took at least 2 minutes I think. When I landed at the place, I started casting immediately. No, I didn’t wait for everything to rez because I know that the contest had already started and there was no more time to waste.

After five minutes, more or less, the place finally rezzed for me and the first thing I did was to check the contest board to see how many points the leader had. I was like 10 points behind everyone else and was ranked 11th. because of that, I didn’t bother to find a fishing spot. I continued fishing on that spot were I landed because I had no time to waste anymore looking for a spot to fish in. Besides, it doesn’t matter where you fish as long as you are within the Fish Server’s range and since I was within range I just continued fishing there.

I was really hoping to at least get on the board but I never expected to finish first. You see, one habit of mine while fishing is that I don’t look at the contest board while the contest is still on-going. I do look at it after the contest to see how the Top 5 scored but not before. That is why I was kinda surprised to receive the Gold Trophy.

I guess, I was just lucky because I was catching some really good fishes and my misses wasn’t that many. There are times when the only thing I catch are Commons and Uncommons but in this contest I caught a few SuperUltraRares and a lot of UltraRare fishes. I just hope my luck continues until after this Saturday because Hedonism will again have its 15,000L$ 7Seas Fishing Tournament. They do this everytime their donation meter reaches 15,000L$.

Again, fishing with 7Seas Fishing Game is a lot of fun and if lady luck is on your side then you might even earn a few linden thousand linden dollars too. LOL!
