The Roman Empire Sim

Recently, I received a message from mikeD Streeter informing me about the changes that they did in The Roman Empire sim.  The Roman Empire is the flagship sim of [RPG Empire]. As far as I know, the success of The Roman Empire gave birth to other empires which later on became the RPG Empire continent in Second Life.

The first change I noticed is at the landing area. More shops were added and the floor texture was changed as well. I also noticed that the pillars that supports most, if not all, of the shops are now colored red and most of the textures that make up the shops were changed too.

Most of the shop spaces are empty so if you would like to rent or reserve a space then just contact mikeD Streeter for more information about acquiring a shop space in The Roman Empire sim.

Here are some of the changes that I noticed while walking around The Roman Empire sim (forgive me if I miss anything since I haven’t visited the sim for  a while):

  • The Coliseum now has windows. I don’t remember seeing it with windows or openings so that’s definitely a change, at least, from the last time I’ve been there. LOL!
  • There is a place that has structures or buildings assigned to each Roman Family.
  • Around one corner of the sim is a small garden or park.
  • I also saw a Theater and behind it is the pier.
  • There are also a few new buildings which I have no idea what they’re for.
  • Way up in the sky are the Roman Prison and the Training Ground.

The Prison

If I remember correctly, the Prison is 3000 meters above ground and to get there, I used the teleporter which is infront of the Coliseum. I didn’t see anything special about the Prison. It’s not very big and has only a few prison cells. My guess is that they’ll use it for roleplay purposes.

The Training Ground

The Training Ground is also way up in the sky and it is much wider than the Prison. The teleporter to get to the Training Ground is also located infront of the Coliseum. Once you are there, you’ll find yourself inside a small fort where you’ll find a gadget that will enable your weapon to be use in training because outside there are moving and attacking targets for you to practice on.

Costume Kingdom

Anyway, if you haven’t visited The Roman Empire for a while then I guess this is the best time for you to visit and have a look around the sim. Don’t forget to join the group if you wish to receive updates and notices of upcoming tournaments and other events. If you wish to rent a shop space then kindly send an instant message to mikeD Streeter.

Visit [The Roman Empire] today and if you are not yet a resident then join Second Life now to experience a virtual world created by its residents.
