Today I was kinda kicked out of The Spartan Empire arena. Kicked out? LOL! Not exactly, I left voluntarily after someone told me that I should wear period clothing when I’m visiting the arena. I asked if it’s a requirement even for guests and visitors because as far as I know guests and visitors are not required to be in period clothing. The answer I got was (and I quote), “its my preference isnt that enough“. Whoa! The tone of the sentence was not friendly at all so, since I don’t want to cause any problems, I just said farewell.

Afterwards, I sent an instant message to the Empress of Rome to ask if period clothing is now required when visiting The Roman Empire because I don’t want to cause problems in their RP and to avoid experiences like that. The Empress said that I am welcome to come and wear anything in The Roman Empire which is a relief because I like The Roman Empire. Eventhough, most of everyone I know there are gone I still consider it one of my home in Second Life.

What am I doing in The Spartan Empire anyway? Well, I was just looking around and, of course,  to watch the scheduled raid by The Roman Empire. I received the notice but when I went to Sparta there was nothing going on. I guess I miss it or something.

For now, I will try to avoid going to The Spartan Empire besides there are still other sims in RPG Empire where I can freely roam around like The Roman Empire, Medieval England and the Empire of France. To those visiting The Spartan Empire, I suggest that you wear period clothing because having an OOC or Observer or Non RP tag may not work with some people there. If you don’t have period clothings then just try not to interact with anyone to avoid problems.

Anyway, The Spartan Empire is booming. Just a couple of days ago I saw a lot of people there. I even met the former Queen of Sparta watching her friends spar. It was nice seeing her. With a growing empire and community, I guess I’m not a big lost if I don’t go there anymore. I’m happy for their growth!
