I don’t mind being killed but…

Today at Medieval England a Paige named Kristin implied that the only way I can win is by not fighting fair which is a whole lot of crap. I hate being told or even implied of not fighting fair. Unlike her, I join these fights not to win but to participate. You can kill me a million times and I won’t have a problem with it but implying that I fight unfairly, you’ll hear a whole lot from me but not inworld. I don’t like arguing with people inworld. LOL!

Medieval England

Today’s tournament was a Free For All and it was also between a few nations particularly Medieval England and Egypt. As always, I fight for the King of Medieval England whom I’ve known for many months now. My goal here was to help England win and keep the Trophy which is very sacred to the King.

The first round was taken by the Egyptians with a win by the Pharoah (sorry forgot the spelling of your fullname as I was writing this). In the second round, I targeted the Pharoah as instructed by Lady merenwen. I tried very hard not to hit any English citizens. When the last egyptian fell I stopped thinking that it was over but it was shouted by one of the royals that two members of the English team remains, me and this avatar named Kristin, and that we should fight. I searched for her in the arena and charged her. I was charging her when she asked that I wait because of some problems her fighting gears which I did (it was in the middle of the fight, I shouldn’t stop but I still did). I stood there waiting for her to finish whatever she was doing. Now, the King of England approached and ordered that we should fight and not dance I think, something like that.

Not wanting to make everyone wait anymore and because it was ordered by the King himself, I grabbed my Hammer and smite her with all my might thinking that being on the same team she would understand. She complained that she was not ready. I explained that I was ordered to fight (I think the order was for both of us). She then retorted that it was the only way I can win. WHAT THE…! She implied to me that the only way I can win is by fighting unfairly. I would have waited for her if only we were not ordered to fight. The King was right beside us, if he said to stop why would I attack but unfortunately he said fight and not dance and so I did. If she had a problem with that then she should have complained to the King and not to me.

I think I told her I was ordered to fight a few times but since she wouldn’t accept it I decided to withdraw from the tournament and went home. Withdrawing was easy since I wasn’t there to win for myself and I’m sure my participation won’t be missed because they have the ever wonderful and mighty Kristin fighting for them. My only mistake in the tournament was I followed the King. I should have just ignore him and waited. Darn it!

I was having a great time too but I have to keep my honor specially when someone claims that I did him/her wrong. I’d rather lose than be told that I can only win through unfair means.

Here is a little tip Miss Kristin, before entering an arena or a fight make sure that all your tools and equipments are working because if they fail in the middle of combat then you can only blame yourself. As a struggling fighter, I have never complained that my horse is not running or my sword is not hitting in the middle of a fight. Before or even after a fight, yes, but never in the middle of it. We were in the middle of a fight and, honestly, I shouldn’t even had waited for you. I should have just whacked you but no, I waited. I only attacked when I was ordered to (both of us).

As I’ve said, I’ve been defeated and killed a hundred times and I took it. What I can’t take is being told that I fight unfairly. Tell me that I’m a terrible fighter and I’ll take it because it’s true. I’ve never been or ever claimed that I was a great fighter but never, ever tell me or even imply to me that I fight unfairly. Even the slightest hint of me not fighting fair and I’ll be all over you.

Anyway, someone like Kristin will not stop me from participating in tournaments held in Medieval England. I’ve already muted her because I don’t want to hear anything more from her. Medieval England is a great place, the King is an awesome person and most of the people there are wonderful. Experiences like these will happen but it will never change the fact that Medieval England is among the best places in Second Life. Besides, if someone gives me headaches or problems like Kristin then all I have to do is MUTE them and, just like magic, my problems with them all went away. Ha ha ha!
