OOC Christmas Party and Sim Wall

[The Roman Empire] sim had their Christmas Party last December 23, 2008 and I went there, not to mingle or socialize but, to take snapshots of the event.

There were many people on the sim that day and it was really laggy. The people and objects around me took a few minutes to fully rezz and after it rezzed I was not sure if everything did rezz.

For the party, the leaders of Rome decorated the Colosseum with Christmas Decors and laid snow on the arena floor. The Colosseum, for a brief, moment was converted from a place where people die into a place where life is celebrated. It’s kinda ironic but, hey, it’s Christmas and, besides, in Second Life anything you can imagine is prossible.

mikeD Streeter, Owner and God of Rome, played the part of Santa Claus and he was sitting comfortably on his weird looking Santa Chair. LOL! Unfortunately, he didn’t stay long though.

The Empress of Rome was also one with the festivities. She was wearing a nice Female Santa Outfit which according to her was from a Prize Chair. LOL! Well, it may be a freebie but still it looks good on her.

Gandy Kidd sure looks happy! Ha ha ha! He invited me to come down but I opted to stay and observed the event where I was.

I don’t know how long the party lasted but I did see some weird stuff down there like a couple of boxes chasing each other which was funny and there was one guy wearing a black box over him. Too bad I can’t say what was written on the box. LOL!

I’m sure everyone in the party had fun. Why won’t they? The atmosphere is light and friendly. They are with friends and everyone knows everybody except for me of course! LOL! I haven’t mingled with anyone in Rome for a long, long time. The last time I was active their was when Enrich Halasy, King of Medieval England, was still Emperor.

Sim Wall

After the party, I went to [Medieval England] to check out this Wall which the king placed infront of the sim to hide an ugly thing. The ugly thing kinda sparked my curiousity so I went there to see what it was. It seems that the sim infront of Medieval England has changed and it is now shop with huge mountains.

A huge wall is covering this mountain!

I tried to see what’s ugly about the mountain but I think the King of England needs a higher wall because the top of the mountain is still showing. Ha ha ha!up. LOL!
