New Medieval England Dock and Marketplace

A few days ago, I went to [Medieval England] to check out the changes that they did to the dock and the marketplace and I must say that they did a good job with the marketplace. The reason I like it is because it’s more spacious and a shopper now has easy access to all of the merchant stalls. No more walking from end to end of the wharf just to check out all of the merchants and their products.

This is the landing area, be careful not to fall off!

Also, with the new setup of the markeplace non-roleplayers who are just visiting to do some shopping can do so without affecting any major RP because it’s kinda bordered off from the main area of the sim. A guest or a visitor (like me) can just walk around the marketplace and would not need to go deeper inside if they wish not too.

The dock is now much smaller. It’s now just a small platform with a ship docked beside it. As before, the landing area of Medieval England is located on the ship. A visitor will have to navigate his/her way off the ship and into the dock and the the marketplace. If you are not careful then the chance of falling off the sides of the ship and into the water is great. I know because it happened to me not only once. LOL!

Welcome to Medieval England. The two boxes contains Freebies so don't forget to check them out!

I also went a little deeper inside to see if anything has changed but it seems that the only major change that happened on the sim is with the dock and the marketplace.

Medieval England's new marketplace! Lot's of space to roam around!

Merchant stalls are much more accessible than before!

Near the marketplace, located a little above the sim, I saw a platform which I assumed was used as a modelling ramp. Medieval England had a Fashion Show event earlier and a Weapons Expo followed it.

They had a Fashion Show. Nope, I didn't attend it! LOL!

Wall of gowns! LOL! There should have items for men too!

Again, [Medieval England] proved that there is more to Medieval England than just Role Play and Combat. It is also a great place for shopping and other events. In fact, the day was ended with a Grand Ball in the Castle.

By the way, I didn’t attend any of these events. I got my information from the many notices sent through the group. Social events like fashion shows and balls are not my thing in Second Life but a lot of people like it so this is great for [Medieval England].
