Couples Valentines Day Tournament

A few days before Valentines Day the Empress of Rome asked me for a couple of *KK* Rod of Red Roses. According to her she’ll be giving them away as prizes in a Couples Valentines Day Tournament and this event was held in the Colosseum. I didn’t give her the rod she requested, instead I gave her all three of my Valentines Day Fishing Rods (*KK* Rod of Red Roses, *KK* Rod of Hearts and *KK* I Love You Rod). The request was a mystery to me because, as far as I know, there are no fishing areas anywhere in [The Roman Empire]. Mystery or not, I was more than happy to grant her request.

I went to the event after attending a Jousting Class in [Medieval England]. The class was conducted by Gunner Slade and it wasn’t a class but more of a practice session. I went there expecting to learn some new tricks or even tips on how to win Jousting Tournaments but, unfortunately, there were none. I left 45 minutes later and went to [The Roman Empire] to witness the Couples Valentines Day Tournament.

The event was just about to start when I got there. The participants, together with the Emperor and Empress of Rome, were already inside the arena. As always, The Roman Empire sim gets really laggy during events like this and, after taking a couple of snapshots, I crashed! I logged back in but I was taken to a nearby location because, according to Second Life, the area where I was previously was not available.

Anyway, according to the empress, those who received the rods were happy with them and I was glad they did. I was also hoping that it would interest them in fishing as well and, if by chance they do, I hope they fish at my place too.
