In a discussion, everyone has an opinion but sometimes hurtful opinions are thrown out without looking at the facts or knowing what really happened first. Some people base their opinions on assumptions and speculations and what’s worst is that some people ride it like a wave rolling over the shore.
A week ago, I received a notecard containing copied and pasted chat logs taken from the 7Seas Social Chat group. It seemed that they were discussing the recent issue that befallen my place in Second Life, 3 Stars and a Sun. I would have disregarded it but hurtful words were said like I was prejudice and I judge people based on how much money they have. These are far from the truth. I am not prejudice and I will never judge people nor will I be selective to those who visits my place. Everyone has always been welcome to come to my place anytime they like (as long as they will not cause trouble or grief other people).
[2009/03/08 0:02] (7Seas Fisher 1): Sad to inform everyone that fishing is currently closed at 3 Stars and a Sun. The entire sim blocks off avatars with no payment info (I’m one of them). I have no real say about it since I’m a FREE tenant.
I apologize for the inconvenience! T_T

Upon receiving the notecard, I immediately re-joined 7Seas Social Chat group to rectify the bad press I was getting. I told them that what happened to my place was beyond my control and because I was living on the land for FREE, I have no real say about anything that happens on the sim. I told them that I have moved my fishing area and everyone is always welcome to come and fish there. I also posted the SLURL to the new location of 3 Stars and a Sun and after that I left the group again.
I really just wanted them to know that I don’t require people to have payment info on file, that I don’t and will never judged people based on payment status and that I am not prejudice to anyone person or group. In fact, I immediately rented a piece of land on another sim and, as fast as I could, moved 3 Stars and Sun there as a quick remedy to the problem.
Anyway, I would like to express my thanks to 7Seas Fisher 2 because, even with the questions, assumptions and speculations, he continued to relay the correct information about what happened to 3 Stars and a Sun. I truly appreciate it.
Again, everyone is welcome to come, hangout and fish at 3 Stars and a Sun (except, of course, griefers and troublemakers).
