7Seas Fishing Game ROCKS!!!

A couple of months ago someone dropped me a notecard entitled “People whining about KK customs”. I accepted it, skimmed through it and left it in my inventory. I can’t remember how I felt back then or if I discussed it with the person who dropped me the notecard but I am sure I was depressed, disappointed and frustrated about it. Recently, I created a T-Shirt with the words “Fish More, Whine Less” and while searching my inventory for the t-shirt I came across the notecard once again. I opened it but this time I didn’t skim through it, I read the full content of the notecard.

7Seas Community can really make you feel down! T_T

After I was accused of cheating by the 7Seas Community for using a custom fishing rod, a fishing rod modded into a sword, months ago, even before the DevKit was released. My group chat participation level went really down. I just kept it for contest announcements and updates. What can I do? I like taking their money. LOL!

When 7Seas released their customs development kit, I loved it. I started with simple 1 prim custom fishes then moved on to building multiple primmed custom fishes, custom fishing rods and others. A few people started fishing at my dock and I do believed that they liked most of the items they caught like the Red and Yellow M&M Shoulder Buddies, the talking IgglyBuff and others. I even had people asking for the split donation prize pots which they used at their own fishing areas. Now, no one wants these split donation prize pots. LOL!

Going back to the notecard, many of what was said were not true at all. I don’t know what their intentions are for saying such things. As far as I know, I have never done anything wrong to any of them. I am just a guy who enjoys building custom items and gives them away through 7Seas fishing. Below are a few lines from the notecard (names were removed)!

[12:45] ******* ****: nods…been there for hours without catching a single custom

This particular line is absolutely not true. There is no chance in hell that you can spend hours at 3 Stars and a Sun without catching any single custom item. This is BULLSHIT!

[12:46] ****** ******: Too many SURS too high a catch rate

This is another BULLSHIT of a statement. Yes, the catch rate at 3 Stars and a Sun is high being at 80% and when was that ever a problem? People always complain about low catch rate but this is the first time I have heard or read someone complain about a high catch rate.

[12:48] ******* ****: i prefered when everything was in 1 server now ya need to be at different places to get them

The reason why I separated the customs was to spread out the fishers BECAUSE I have received complaints about people camping the daily contest. Besides, the separation didn’t last very long because maintaining the different areas was too much of an extra burden for me.

[12:49] ****** ******: But even in 1 server with all those objects and the catch rate it is very hard to catch an item that you specifically want

You can never specifically catch the item that you want that is why it is called random! T_T

I never thought making so many custom fishing rods could be a bad thing. *sigh* Take note, this person is now also making custom fishing rods as well.

OMG! Catching a custom at 3 Stars and a Sun was and is still never hard.

I guess as a customs builder, I have no right to feel frustrated or depress or disappointed. *sad*

When I started building customs for my 7Seas Fishing Area I never intended to frustrate or make people feel frustrated. I want them to have fun fishing and enjoy the custom items they catch.

Re-reading the notecard was really depressing. I am not really close to any of these people I guess that is why I feel that they’ve made me look like a villain or even evil in their discussion. It is sad, it is depressing, it is frustrating but what can I do? I can never please everybody that much I know.

Mikey said that I care too much about what the 7Seas Social Chat people say and I guess he is right but only because these people can hurt you through their words like when I had problems with my FREE land at Animate Me Poseballs. I was immediately tagged as prejudice without knowing the facts. T_T

Anyway, these things will never stop me from building custom items and 3 Stars and a Sun will remain a 7Seas Fishing Area even if I am the only one left fishing in it.
