OMG! Just a few minutes ago I received an IM (instant message) from Nettle Blackthorne. She is the Estate Owner of the sim I purchased/rented land on. She said that she will evict me because the shouting is disturbing her other tenants and, in an instant, all my objects were returned to me.

I spent a moment to think what could be doing all the shouting that’s when I realized that the contest board was running and it was the one doing the shouting. OMG! It wasn’t really a big problem because turning off the board announcement was just one or two clicks away but, unfortunately, I never got the time to turn it off. Why was it turn on in the first place? It’s the contest board’s default setting and because the area was big the announcement must reach a wide area to inform those participants who may be a little far away from it.
What I don’t understand is everything happened too fast. I wasn’t even given the time nor the chance to correct what was causing the disturbance. I got the IM and after a minute, BOOM, everything was sent back to my Lost and Found folder. According to her she was away for a few days but her being away is not really my problem, is it? Oh well, what’s done is done and the same goes to the linden dollars I paid her. It’s not much but it’s hard earned money.
I’ve already IMed Ms. Lick Polk about purchasing land on her sim but the offer of bonus prims by Nettle Blackthorne (as posted on xstreetsl.com’s forum) on her sim was very hard to resist that’s why I immediately took it.
This experience showed me the difference between a good and a bad Estate Owner. mikeD Streeter, eventhough I was staying on his sim for free, gave me time to clear out all my belongings when he evicted me and he even explained why which he didn’t even need to do since I was living there for FREE. Nettle Blackthorne immediately evicted me for something that can be immediately remedied and didn’t even give me a few minutes to clear out my things. Now, I have all these items joined as one inside my inventory. Arggghhhh!
For those thinking of purchasing or renting land on Nettle Blackthorne’s sim, keep looking and if you are an Estate Owner renting or selling land then please have more than just LOREM IPSUM written in your Information Notecard.
On a side note, I’m freaking pissed but what can I do? NOTHING! I guess I’ll just have to take it as a lost and, as always, move on. I’m sure I’ll be able to find a much nicer land with a nicer Estate Owner somewhere but I’m still pissed!

kuya kab! saan ka na lumipat ngayon? saan na ang 3 stars? mis ko na kayo ni kuya kula.. di ako makapunta ngayon sa secondlife eh… kuya kab lam mo yung cebu sim sa secondlife? nagpaparent din sila dati.. di ko lang alam kung my lugar pa ngayon dun.. dati kc nagpadala sakin ng notecard yung si Leelee Dinzeo sya yung nag mamanage nun.. pilipino rin yun…
I empathize with your frustration to the fullest. How anyone could ever forget the importance of showing generosity through customer service beats me. At the very least she could have provided a day or a two to give you a chance to settle the issue and justify your case. Furthermore, it is not in her defense to use the excuse that she had been away for a few days. The proper way to have handled it in that case would have been to inform those who might have sent complaints about her absence and then again I say, grant you time to explain your case. This was her lost and your gain, because honestly, I don’t know anyone who would want to do business with such a person.
P.S. IMHO contest boards work best only when set to shout mode anyway in order to be most effective.

With respect, I think there is more here than you are reporting.
I’ve dealt with Nettle for nigh-on nine months and never found her less than generous, fair and honest in her dealings with residents.
That she would evict someone without due notice or seeking to correct any issues is totally out of her character.
I’d also point out that while her sim is zoned for LIGHT commercial use, she does in fact make it clear that camping chairs, zyngo, bots, and shouting cannot be tolerated in a mix-community sim, and requests those seeking to use her sim for commercial activities respect this.
Other small clubs on the sim manage perfectly well within these guidelines and again, I speak from experience when I say that Nettle does not evict without making EVERY effort to deal with matters.

3 lines of IMs and then POOF! I guess for you that is “due notice” LOL! I don’t want to post the IMs but I hate being called or implied a liar and don’t request for more discussion or talks or chat lines because that is all I got and that is all she gave. Ha ha ha! As I’ve said already in the post above, if was given the chance I would have remedied the issue (or issues if there was more) since I was still in the process of moving in but as I’ve stated, I was not.
Sorry for the LOLing. I just find it funny now. I’m happy that you had an awesome experience with her but, unfortunately, not everyone’s experiences are always the same.
Some people have awesome experiences while others don’t. Just be thankful that yours was great.
