The Swine Flu Fishing Rod Series

For the past few weeks, Swine Flu has been the center of global media attention and people around the world are getting scared. What can we do about it? Well, there’s really nothing anyone can do except practice proper hygiene (like washing our hands regularly, covering our mouths when coughing or sneezing, avoid public areas as much as possible and others). Me? I did something extra. I created a set of decorative custom fishing rods which can be used together with 7Seas Invisible Rod in Second Life.

This set is composed of 3 Swine Flu inspired decorative custom fishing rods that are compatible with the 7Seas Fishing Game in Second Life. If you are a Second Life and you have no idea what 7Seas Fishing Game is then visit their website at www.7seasfishing.com. By the way, I am not affiliated with 7Seas. I am just a third party custom builder but I usually just build for myself and my fishing area.

BUT, if you are into 7Seas Fishing and you would like to get one of these custom fishing rods then just drop by my fishing area at 3 Stars and a Sun in-world. There are more than a hundred custom items to be caught at 3 Stars and a Sun ranging from pets to fishing rods.

I also have the following at 3 Stars and a Sun (besides Custom Items):

  • Discounted Bulk Bait Buckets
  • Bulk Bait Prize Chairs
  • 7Seas Prize Chairs
  • Bounty Hunt (rewarding bait buckets and other items)
  • Daily Fishing Marathon (prizes varies everyday)
  • Vendors (Fishing Rods, sionChicken Eggs, etc.)
  • and others

So, if you are not too busy in-world and you would like to go fishing for custom items or get free bait buckets then just drop by 3 Stars and a Sun anytime.

  • One of my sisters got infected with H1N1 or more commonly known as Swine Flu. Fortunately, she did not have very high fever and she was able to recover fast .

  • My brother got infected with H1N1 or Swine Flu in Mexico. He got a mild fever and luckily he did not die.

  • If you look at the pandemic of 1977, when H1N1 or Swine Flu re-emerged after a 20 year absence, there is no shift in age-related mortality pattern. The 1977 “pandemic” is, of course, not considered a true pandemic by experts today, for reasons that are not entierely consistent. It certainly was an antigenic shift and not an antigenic drift. As far as I have been able to follow the current events, the most significant factor seems to have been that most people, who were severely affected, were people with other medical conditions.
