Today Linden Labs released the latest version of their viewer for Second Life and, that’s not all, they also launched their newest continent, Zindra. Zindra is an Adult rated continent accessible to those residents who age verified their Second Life accounts. If your account is not Age Verified as an adult then you won’t be able to visit Zindra.
Age Verified
The Age Verification process is quite easy to do but, still, many residents are getting a hard time age verifying their accounts. If you are one of those that are having some difficulty age verifying your account using your real life information then here is an easy way to get age verified.
I found out about this trick through a post at XStreetSL.com’s forum by one of the members. It seems that Second Life does not actually check the information you enter in the Age Verification form with your existing Second Life account information. This means that you can use anyone’s personal information in the Age Verification form, submit it and if its valid then it would be successful and you’ll be age verified. Easy to acquire information of a US driver’s license
Either from friends/family, or the web (Googling using Google Images for driver’s license/licence can provide anyone with the details required to verify an Aristotle entry, e.g Elvis Presley). The Aristotle system only claims to verify that information exists and Linden Lab claim in their FAQ, “Absolutely no personal information that is supplied for age verification is stored or otherwise retained by Linden Lab or its verification partner Aristotle-Integrity.”

So, if you are still having problems or difficulty age verifying your accounts then just use the information above to get yourselves age verified.

Be nice if it worked. Use any info, get back in bright green text that verification was successful…..sure as hell isn’t reflected ingame. So I contact support and get treated like a criminal trying to cheat the system by Nicole Linden. Amazing how they can’t get a simple form to work right. Used SSN, Passport, last 4 of SSN and drivers license, same ’successful verified’ message, but no indication ingame that it even does anything.
There is a place in-world where you can test if you are Age Verified like the one you see on the photo. I forgot where that place is but I believe I found it by using the in-world search. Goodluck!
same problem here, no matter wich info i use, it shows it was succesfull, but ingame it’s all still blocked
Hey man if it shows succesfull u can go to adult areas but first u need to open u sl client, log in them press ctrl+c and click on general. U gon c 3 box. Go to the second and change to pg,mature and adult. Now u r completely age-verify. Hope it helps u and sorry 4 da bad english.
You have to go into your settings to show adult areas as well or it WON’T do anything when you’ve verified.
it works btw i went to zindra and checked to see if i was verified and it didnt block me

Many folks don’t realize that ADULT verification and AGE verification are not the same thing. They are 2 different beasts.
ADULT verification can be had by simply having a payment record with LL. And that will allow you to Zindra.
BUT if you want to go to a bit of land where the owner has stupidly decided to ban based on age verification (either singly or IN ADDITION to adult status), then you’re outta luck unless you want to jump through the age hoops mentioned in the above article.

Also, payment information can be added on a teen account as well as adult account.. How is that ADULT verification?

Yeah. Oct 31 1984 for me… too bad you cant select or enter in “31″ in the date field. max is 30. Half the months in the year have 31 days. what the HELL?!
yup, March 31, 1967 for me and I am just as upset about it………”easy to get age-verified” my ass! I tried to contact them to fix that drop down menu to include the number 31 but all I got was “gee you’ll have to scan proof of age into the computer and attach it to this request”!!!!! I don’t have a scanner and I shouldn’t have to run around town looking for a company to help me. I should be able to do it on secondlife.com just like so many others have been able to! It’s discrimination!!!!!

!! IMPORTANT — After you age verify via the website YOU MUST CHANGE IT IN YOUR PREFERENCE. Otherwise, the adult check off will be greyed out.
