Fishing 4 Money

Well, I’m kinda doing some fishing again but this time it’s mostly with Neo-Realms and it’s all for money. Embarrassing as it may sound but yes I am purely “Fishing 4 Money” and I even made a shirt that says so (and you can get one for yourself too, click here and here). Ha ha ha!

Some people fish for fun, some fish for attention, some fish to socialize and others fish for popularity but me I simply fish for money. Yes, money which is also known as Linden Dollars in Second Life is very crucial to the survival of any Second Life resident because without it means death, seriously. He he he!

Right now, I need lots and lots of money and I am trying to augment my income stream by competing in fishing tourneys again. I am focusing on Neo-Realms more instead of 7Seas because Neo-Realms has lots of Event Rod Tourneys that doesn’t use any baits which means that your only investment is time.

I would have love to make money by renting my 7Seas Custom Prize Givers but, for some reason, no one wants to rent them and that is why I don’t offer it anymore (signs no longer give out rental info). I’ll continue to make custom items though and fishers (7Seas or Neo-Realms) will still be able to catch them at my place in-world or buy them if they feel a little generous. He he he!

In regards to my “Fishing 4 Money”, I have won 2 Global Event Rod Tournaments which earned me 600L$. Not bad, that’s better than renting out my Custom Prize Givers for 100L$ per week. All I have to do now is keep on winning and sooner or later I’ll be the next Donald Trump in Second Life, NOT! Ha ha ha!

Fishing 4 Money wouldn’t be possible now with 7Seas. With thousands of fishers and the addition of a built-in auto-casting feature, the chance of winning a fishing contest in 7Seas is very slim. Not to mention the fact that most 7Seas fishing contest are baited. I think the only fishing area that conducts an unbaited 7Seas fishing contest is RealMOM which is hosted by Littlehelper.

I’m not saying that I’ll be making millions by Fishing 4 Money but if it will help me make more money without spending anything then I’ll definitely do it. Oops, I’m already doing it right now. Ha ha ha!

How to Fish 4 Money?

1. Get a FREE Event Rod 5.0 from any Neo-Realms Fishing Camp
   (You can get a FREE Event Rod 5.0 at 3 Stars and a Sun too)
2. Check out the daily Global Tournament Schedule by visiting Neo-Realms’ website
   (You can also check upcoming tourneys using your Free Event Rod 5.0. Just touch the rod for the menu and click on the “next tourney” button. It will show you what, when and where the next tourney is going to happen.)
3. Focus on Event Rod Tournaments only
   (Obviously, this tournament type allows Event Rods to be used. Event Rods don’t use bait so your only investment here is time.)
4. Register, compete and win!
   (Of course, winning is not guaranteed but if by luck you win then that’s an easy 300L$  for you. Also, if you are the sociable type then you’ll get to meet lots of new people too. Please note that prizes are not always Linden Dollars so always check the prizes too before wasting your time competing. LOL)
