November Sales Report

I just want to share how my very small business in Second Life performed for the month of November. I’ve listed my items in various offworld Second Life marketplaces (like XstreetSL.com, metaLIFE, Apez.biz, slapt.me, Metaverse Exchange and others) and most of my sales/earnings come through them.

November isn’t a very good month for me because my sales/earnings dropped except maybe for XstreetSL.com where it bounced back to the top. Sales in metaLIFE and Apez.biz went down. As for the others, it stayed the same with ZERO Linden Dollars. LOL!

XstreetSL.com

I have 440 items listed in XstreetSL.com but only 40 of these items are active. Surprisingly, my earnings from XstreetSL.com jumped to the top after selling a few Custom Fishing Rod Packs at L$5,998 per pack.

metaLIFE

For the month of October I made L$10,005 from metaLIFE but that was cut in half this November. Most of my sales in metaLIFE come from affiliates. These are residents who have taken and placed one of my Branded metaVENDORs in their homes, shop or store. My Branded metaVENDORs are currently set to give affiliates 30% commission. If you would like to make a few linden dollars from your home, shop or store then please grab one of my Branded metaVENDORs.

Apez.biz

Just like with metaLIFE, most of my sales come from affiliate vendors. My affiliate vendors from Apez.biz are set to give affiliates 40% commission which is 10% higher than my Branded metaVENDORs.

slapt.me

I still have yet to make an earning in slapt.me. I currently have 41 active items listed and have only sold 1 item which is a FREE item. I’ll try to list more items and see if that helps.

Metaverse Exchange

I only have 17 active items listed in MVX and have sold a couple of FREE items. I’ll also try to list more items here if that will help improve sales.

Yesterday, I listed a couple of items in SLOpenMarket. I also have items listed in Vitty.jp and I’m thinking of listing a couple of items in MySLMarket as well.

Many merchants like to stick with one marketplace but, not me, I like to spread my eggs in different baskets. Yes, it involves extra work but if you can squeeze one or two sales from it then I think it’s worth it.
