Yesterday, while I was working on my new custom fishing rod series, the NHL Hockey Fishing Rods, and chatting with my friend mikey in Second Life, my computer crashed and wouldn’t start back up. I spent the whole day and the whole night trying to get it back to work but I couldn’t. Frustrated, tired and sleepy, I gave up on it. Tomorrow, I will bring the MOBO to a technician to have it checked.

(This is the spec of the computer I’m currently using)
For now, I am using a Celeron D based computer (see screenshot above) with onboard video, LAN and sound cards. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to run any Second Life clients using this setup but I was able to run Radegast and Metabolt with it. Radegast and Metabolt are non-graphical clients or text based clients for accessing the Second Life grid and, since they are text-based, I won’t be able to use for building. T_T
When will I be able to start building again? I have no idea. If the technician can get my MOBO to work then it could be sooner but if not then it will be a very long time. Right now, I just can’t afford to buy a new computer.
I’m also thinking of selling this blog, KABALYERO.COM, to raise funds for a new computer. So, if anyone of you are interested then just give me an offer. E-mail it to kabalyero@kabalyero.com.
My fishing area will continue as long as I can make enough linden dollars each month to pay for the land I am using in Second Life. I can still log in with Radegast or Metabolt to do simple tasks like chatting and even pay the estate owner, Zoha Boa, my monthly land fees.
