Migrating Your XStreetSL.com Listings

It seems that on June 10, 2010, Second Life will be migrating all active items in XStreetSL.com to their New Second Life Marketplace for testing. By the way, does anyone know where I can get a glimpse of this new Second Life Marketplace? I’ve read the e-mail sent by Linde Lab more than 10 times already and I couldn’t find a link to it. There is a link to a blog post about the announcement and another link to a Second Life Wiki page. The announcement also didn’t have a link to this new Second Life Marketplace but they do have pictures of it at Flickr. Are we supposed to shop using pictures? LOL! Just kidding. ^_^

As for migrating my XStreetSL.com listings to the new Second Life Marketplace, I don’t think Linden Lab will have a problem with it since I have only 52 active items listed. It was also very nice of Linden Lab to suggest that I deactivate or remove non-performing or low-performing items from my list. Fortunately, I have done that months ago when they first announced their plans of adding listing fees to XStreetSL.com.

Currently, I have 410 inactive items in XStreetSL.com. Most of them were selling but since they’re too cheap or FREE, listing them would be expensive for me once the listing fees are implemented. Many of my items are already listed at metaLIFE and a few are listed at slapt.me and apez.biz.

Anyway, I don’t think I’ll have any problems with this planned migration to the new Second Life Marketplace. I’m sure migrating 52 active items would only take their system a couple of seconds to do it.

I kinda laughed at the last part of their statement above. They kinda said the same thing with their Second Life Viewer 2 project. Easy to use my a**! LOL!

Still, I am looking forward to this new Second Life Marketplace. If its really easy to use as Linden Lab claims it to be then I might probably get more sales from it. More sales means more MONEY for me to play with in-world. LOL!
