Virtual Life (In Game)

In game, Kabalyero is the name I commonly use. I’ve been playing MMOs and MMORPGs for more than 5 years now. The very first MMORPG I played was Ragnarok Online. It was also the very first MMORPG in the Philippines. The success of Ragnarok Online opened up the Philippines’ door to other MMOs. I think I played Ragnarok for 2 years. After that, I’ve started trying and playing different mmorpg titles like MU Online, Skyblade, Khan Online, etc.

Before MMORPGs, I play single player PC and LAN games. My favorites back then were Red Alert: Command and Conquer, Battle Realms, Freelancer, Sims, Warcraft Series, Morrowind and a few others I can no longer remember but my all time favorite was Counterstrike. I was so hooked into Counterstike that I made my own CS Skins and I almost created my very own CS Map.

Currently Playing?

Second Life. I first logged on to Second Life last July 2006 but I left and uninstalled the client immeditely because I didn’t quite get what Second Life was really about. I returned last May 2007, after learning more about it through forums and blogs and have been playing since then.

Currently, I have two avatars in Second Life. They are Rom Ireton and Kabalyero Kidd. I am also renting a small land in Scaramanga and the name of my place is 3 Stars and a Sun which was derived from the symbols of my country’s flag, the Philippines.

My activities in Second Life are:

• explore the many regions
• build or create items for personal and commercial use
• find new ways on how to earn linden dollars in Second Life
• have fun

Cabal Online. My real intention was to only try the game when e-Games launched Cabal Online here in the Philippines. I had no plans or intentions of playing the game longer than necessary but, for some reason, I got hooked on it.

Currently, I’m playing on Venus server. My characters are a Warrior named Kabalyero and a Force Blader also named Kabalyero. I have 4 other characters but I just use them as storage.
