I was going through the Second Life Blogosphere when a particular issue caught my attention. انني ذاهب من خلال الحياة الثانية عندما Blogosphere مسألة معينة انتباهي الاهتمام. That issue is about Stolen Skins (or textures). ان المساله هي المسروقه عن الجلود (او القوام). Texture (skins are just textures) theft has always been a big problem in Second Life and many designers, specially the popular ones, have had their textures stolen and sold at very low prices. الملمس (الجلود هي مجرد القوام) السرقه كانت دائما مشكلة كبيرة في الحياة الثانية والعديد من المصممين ، وخاصة الشعبية منها ، وكان قوام على المسروقه وبيعها بأسعار زهيده جدا. This is very unfair for the designers because creating an original texture, specially an original skin, is a very difficult process. وهذا امر غير عادل لان المصممين لتهيئة الاصل الملمس ، وخاصة الجلد الأصلي ، هي عملية بالغة الصعوبه. I know how hard it is because I tried creating my own skin once. وانا اعرف مدى صعوبة هو انني حاولت ايجاد بلدي الجلد مرة واحدة. That is why I understand why Skins in Second Life, specially the good ones, cost so much. وهذا هو السبب فى اننى افهم لماذا الجلود في الحياة الثانية ، وخاصة الجيدة منها ، الكثير من التكاليف.

The Unfortunate Truth الحقيقة المءسفه

So, you’ve finally created your own original Skin and it was so good that it became popular, you became popular. ذلك ، لقد قمت اخيرا خلق الجلد الاصلي الخاص بك وكان ذلك جيدا انه اصبح الشعبية ، ولقد اصبحت شعبية. It is a hard war to win and only Linden Labs, the developer of Second Life, can do something about it. ومن الصعب كسب الحرب وإلا معامل ليندن ، المطور الثانية من العمر ، يمكن ان نفعل شيئا حيال ذلك. Linden Labs must developed new measures to protect their creators and combat this practice permanently. معامل ليندن يجب وضع اجراءات جديدة لحمايه المبدعين ومكافحة هذه الممارسه بشكل دائم. What those measures are? ما هي هذه التدابير؟ I honestly don’t know but we can do our part by voting for Stopping texture theft and stop spreading of stolen items at jira.secondlife.com. أنا بصراحة لا اعرف ولكننا لا نستطيع ان نقوم بدورنا التي يجري التصويت عليها لوقف السرقه والملمس توقف نشر من القطع المسروقه في jira.secondlife.com.

Anyway, as long as there are ways to dump textures into your hard drive (actually they’re already there even with the regular client) and there are no extreme measures that will deter texture theft, or make texture thieves stop and think twice, then winning this war against texture theft is almost an impossibility. على أي حال ، ما دام هناك طرق لاغراق القوام الى محرك القرص الثابت (الواقع انهم بالفعل هناك حتى مع العملاء العاديه) وليس هناك اقصى التدابير التي من شأنها ان تردع السرقه الملمس ، او جعل الملمس وقف اللصوص وفكر مليا ، ثم كسب هذه الحرب ضد السرقه الملمس تكاد تكون استحاله.
