These past two weeks I’ve been spending most of my Second Life time creating custom fishing rods to be used with the 7Seas Fishing Game System. The custom fishing rods I make are just ordinary non-animated fishing rods and to make them work they must be used together with the 7Seas Phantom or Invisible Fishing Rods with Animations. Without it, my custom fishing rods will not do anything.

I’ve already made a custom fishing rod before but what really started me from making more custom fishing rods was my Candy Cane Rod. I made the Candy Cane Rod because I needed something for this Christmas Season and I was surprised that many fishing people like it. That encouraged me to make more custom fishing rods. Today I was able to enter Nippon’s weekly 7Seas Fishing Contest. Fortunately, I wasn’t doing anything important which allowed me to spare sometime to go fishing. I don’t enter that many fishing contests these days because of my new real life work and the competition now is very tough. That’s why I just do most of my fishing at home. In fact, if you come visit my place, 3 Stars and a Sun, you’ll be able to get some 7Seas Fishes and Gears for FREE.

I went immediately to Nippon after getting the group notice. I was in such a haste that I was not able to change to my fishing outfit. I went there wearing my Gladiator outfit complete with DCS Meter and swords. The only thing I wore when I got there was my Phantom Fishing Rod and to make it more weirder, I drew my Hellfire sword and kinda used it like a fishing rod. I’ve been fishing with 7Seas for a couple of months now, I think, and I’m really enjoying it. I don’t win that much anymore that’s because I don’t join that many contest anymore as well but I still enjoy fishing a lot.

Today, I was greeted by an item discussion notification from Xstreet SL. I was surprised because I don’t remember registering in any website named Xstreet SL. So, I went to check it out and again I was surprised because the link took me to SLExchange. It seems that SLExchange has changed their name to Xstreet SL but that’s not why we are here. LOL!

The link opened up the item discussion page for my item listing named *KK* Free Fish and Gear Board and there was a comment from a police wannabe in Second Life named Dannoth Dagger. Today, since I wasn’t doing anything important, I decided to check out three 7Seas Fishing Areas namely Delphinus Isle, Hedonism and Feudal Nippon. Why? I don’t know, it was a good idea at that time I guess. Ha ha ha!

I started with Delphinus Isle because it was the first link that greeted me when I logged in. They’re having this contest where the prize is not determined by the board but instead the prize is catchable. What is it? It’s a PrimOptic Gift Certificate.
