Last month I was contacted by Ms. Diane Reyes of Game! El mes pasado se puso en contacto por la Sra Diane Reyes de Juego! I said to myself, if they think my writing is good enough for their magazine then why not so I told her yes. As I’ve said, Ms. Diane, who is an Editorial Assistant, contacted me and asked if I’m willing to take on a writing assignment and guess what, the topic was Second Life . Como he dicho, Sra Diane, que es un Asistente Editorial, contactó conmigo y me preguntó si estoy dispuesto a asumir una tarea de escritura y adivinen qué, el tema fue Second Life. I accepted the assignment and she gave me a week to write the story. Acepté la cesión y ella me dio una semana para escribir la historia. It was my first time writing for a nationally syndicated magazine and it’s scaring the crap out of me. A few days later, I finished the story and you won’t believe how many times I read it just to make sure it’s okay. On January 10, 2008 the December-January Issue of Game! El 10 de enero, 2008-diciembre de la edición de Enero de Juego! Magazine finally hit the newsstands. Revista finalmente golpeó la quioscos. I tried to get a copy but unfortunately it wasn’t available in any bookstores here in our city. Since, I can’t get a copy, I just asked Ms. Diane if she can spare me even just the cover of the magazine. It was big but it’s not of high quality. Es grande pero no es de alta calidad. It was blurry so what I did is reduced the size to make it more sharper. This issue of Game! La presente edición del Juego! Magazine coincides with this year’s Philippine Online Gaming Summit which was held last January 13, 2008. I really wanted to go but my current condition and the on-going Coco Festival here in our city prevented me from going but Chino Yalin , a Filipino Second Life Celeb, was there and he took some nice photos of the event too. Realmente me quería ir pero mi actual condición y el actual Coco Festival aquí en nuestra ciudad me impidieron ir, pero Chino Yalin, un filipino Second Life Celeb, estaba allí y él tuvo algunas buenas fotos del evento.
