Well, Linden Labs recently released a new First Look Viewer (FLV) named Dazzle and sad to say I was not Dazzled at all. Bueno, Linden Labs ha publicado hace poco un nuevo primer vistazo Viewer (FLV) llamado sorprendido y triste a decir que no se Dazzled a todos. The Dazzle FLV introduced a new color scheme for the viewer’s GUI and although it is an improvement to the regular viewer’s GUI but please it was far from Dazzling. El Dazzle FLV introdujo un nuevo esquema de colores para el espectador de la GUI y aunque es una mejora para el espectador ordinario de la GUI, pero por favor que estaba lejos de Deslumbrantes. I admit that I like it but it will take more than that to Dazzle me, in fact, OnRez’s Second Life viewer has a more Dazzling GUI, at least for me it is. Reconozco que me gusta, pero se tardará más que eso para deslumbrar a mí, de hecho, OnRez's Second Life tiene un espectador más Deslumbrantes GUI, por lo menos para mí es.

Last February 5, 2008 there was a skin theft protest at a mall in Scapoli. El pasado 5 de febrero de 2008 se produjo un robo de la piel de protesta en un centro comercial en Scapoli. Out of curiousity, I went to take a look at an actual skin theft protest. Fuera de curiosidad, fui a echar un vistazo a la piel un verdadero robo de protesta. An avatar named Thora Charron was there with a huge sign above her head. Un avatar llamado Thora Charron estaba allí con un gran cartel sobre su cabeza. The sign had the words “stop stealing my work” written on it. El signo tenía las palabras "detener el robo de mi trabajo", escrita por él. A few other personalities were also there but what caught my attention were two avatars, a male and female, wearing a plain white texture as their skin with the words “I’d rather go naked than wear stolen skins”. I was going through the Second Life Blogosphere when a particular issue caught my attention. Yo estaba pasando por la Segunda Vida blogosfera cuando un tema en particular atrajo mi atención. That issue is about Stolen Skins (or textures). Esta cuestión es de alrededor robados Skins (o texturas). Texture (skins are just textures) theft has always been a big problem in Second Life and many designers, specially the popular ones, have had their textures stolen and sold at very low prices. La textura (pieles son sólo texturas) el robo ha sido siempre un gran problema en Second Life y muchos diseñadores, especialmente los populares, han tenido sus texturas robados y vendidos a precios muy bajos. This is very unfair for the designers because creating an original texture, specially an original skin, is a very difficult process.
