Once I had this problem with Ghost Prims¹ at the land I’m renting at Scaramanga. I informed my land lord, Richard Palace, and told him about it. As always, Richard responded immediately and had the Sim reset but still those invisible objects remain. I teleported him to my place and showed them where they are. Both of us tried very hard to figure it out until Richard decided to seek some help from the Lindens. I’ve heard stories that the Lindens are hard to find or slow in providing assistance but this was not the case here. Richard said he was talking to Harmony Linden about our problem and a little later Harmony Linden appeared at my place, wooot!

Harmony Linden has a female avatar so I will assume that she is a she. She looked around the place and checked the locations where the ghost prims are. We also helped her by walking around trying to feel where the ghost prims are located and not long we found out what the problem was.

The problem was my rotating spotlights. According to Ms. Harmony, eventhough they are spinning they are still solid objects and I must set them to phantom. I asked here why, if it’s the rotating spotlights, is the ghost prims not moving in circle like the spotlights. She said that the rotation is client side, as far as the server is concerned the object isn’t rotating. We only see it as rotating because of the script inside it. So, that explained why those ghost prims are located only at the four corners of the dance floor and not anywhere else.

Setting the entire rotating spotlight to phantom solved everything. If it wasn’t to Richard Palace and Harmony Linden I would have never figure that one out. Thank you very much to both of you.
