Yes! The mighty Roman Empire still exist! Sì! La possente Romano esistono ancora! Well, not in real life but in Second Life. Beh, non nella vita reale ma in Second Life. I first chanced upon The Roman Empire while looking for new camping locations. Io prima per caso l'impero romano, mentre alla ricerca di nuove località da campeggio. When I was there, the owner of the sim mikeD Streeter invited me to join The Roman Empire group which I did. Quando ero lì, il proprietario della sim mikeD Streeter mi ha invitato ad unirsi al gruppo romano che ho fatto. From then on, I regularly receive updates and group notices from the group about events and Gladiator Fights in the Coliseum. Da allora in poi, ricevo regolarmente aggiornamenti e avvisi dal gruppo al gruppo su eventi e LOTTA DEI GLADIATORI nel Colosseo. I’ve always wanted to come and watch the fights but I just can’t find the time but today was different. Ho sempre voluto venire e vedere le lotte, ma semplicemente non riesce a trovare il tempo, ma oggi è stato diverso.

I received a noticed for a 6:00pm Gladiator Fight at the Coliseum and looking at my clock it was almost 6:00pm. Since, I wasn’t doing anything important, I just logged in to check my rental boxes, I opened the notecard and teleported to The Roman Empire. From the landing point, I walked a few more steps to the coliseum. Dal punto di atterraggio, ho camminato un paio di passi per il Colosseo. Getting there is easy, just follow the signs or you can use your map and place a red beacon over the huge round thing on the map. At the Coliseum, I selected a spot and sat there. Al Colosseo, ho scelto un posto e si sedette. The fights were just about to begin when I got there and as the Gladiators prepare for battle, I took some snapshots. My favorites were the Black Armored Roman Gladiator, the one with the Roman General Tag, the Female Gladiator in Lingerie and the Big Bad Demon Gladiator. The first part of the fight was a Tournament Style One on One matches where fighters must win to advance until only two are left to fight in the Final Round. The next part was a Last Man Standing Match where all the participants will fight amongst themselves until only one is left standing. This part was funny because you’ll see gladiators running for their lives like little girls (no offense meant, LOL). Questa parte è stato divertente perché vedrai gladiatori in esecuzione per la loro vita come bambine (senza offesa significava, LOL).

Of course, the fights won’t be complete without the attendance of the mighty Emperor of Rome, mikeD Streeter, and her Venus of Rome, PhillipaKate Beresford. Naturalmente, la lotta non sarà completo senza la presenza del potente imperatore di Roma, mikeD Streeter, e la sua Venere di Roma, PhillipaKate Beresford. They watched the fights with high interest and the Gladiators honor them before each match! Essi guardato la lotta con grande interesse e il loro onore Gladiators prima di ogni partita!

With the help of the Venus of Rome, I was able to meet the winner of the fights, Blackwell Huet. I believe he was the Black Armored Roman Gladiator which was really scary looking but without his armor and helmet he doesn’t look scary at all. It was time well spent. E 'stato tempo ben speso. The fights were interesting and it further showed that Second Life can be anything you want it to be.
