Today I visited a Role Play/Combat Sim named Samarkand. Oggi ho visitato un gioco di ruolo / Combat Sim nome Samarcanda. The sim has an Ancient Arab/Persian look to it and according to Wikipedia, “Samarkand is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world, prospering from its location on the trade route between China and Europe (The Silkroad)”. La carta SIM è un antico arabo / persiano guardare ad essa e in base a Wikipedia, "Samarcanda è uno dei più antichi abitati città del mondo, prospera dalla sua posizione sulla via commerciale tra la Cina e l'Europa (La Silkroad)".

The Landing Point Il punto di atterraggio

In Second Life, to find Samarkand just search under places using the word “samarkand”. In Second Life, per trovare Samarcanda appena sotto luoghi di ricerca utilizzando la parola "samarcanda". Samarkand’s landing point is the Market Area (see photo) which is located 600 meters above the ground. Samarcanda punto di destinazione è l'area di mercato (vedi foto) che si trova a 600 metri sopra il livello del suolo. To visit other areas of Samarkand you must find the teleporter which is at the other side of the market. Per visitare altre aree di Samarcanda si deve trovare il teleporter che è l'altra faccia del mercato. Also, upon landing you will be given notecards with rules and other informations about the sim so read them well. Inoltre, su di atterraggio verranno forniti notecards con regole e altre informazioni sulla sim in modo di leggere bene.

The City La Città

Samarkand’s main area is the City. Samarcanda la principale zona è la città. I’m not sure if its an exact recreation of Ancient Samarkand but if it’s not then still the builder did a good job in creating it. Non sono sicuro se la sua esatta ricreazione di antica Samarcanda, ma se non è quindi ancora il costruttore ha fatto un buon lavoro nella creazione di esso. I’m not sure what the different buildings are for or who lives in them but they do look good. Non sono sicuro di ciò che i diversi edifici sono o che vive in loro ma guarda bene.

In the city, I also found what looked like vendor stalls. In città, ho anche trovato ciò che sembrava venditore bancarelle. The stalls were very small and they were all empty. La platea erano molto piccole e sono stati tutti i vuoti. If they were vendor stalls then there’sa very high chance that they’re not yet open for business. Se fossero venditore bancarelle c'è quindi molto elevata probabilità che non lo hai ancora aperto per le imprese. There’s also this fortress like structure near the it. C'è anche questa fortezza, come in prossimità della struttura.

The city is a nice place to visit. La città è un bel posto da visitare. There are various areas which you can enjoy like the waterfall, the desert oasis and others. Ci sono diversi settori cui si può godere come la cascata, le oasi del deserto e altri.

The Arena and The Silkroad L'Arena e il Silkroad

As the name implies, The Arena is where combat or fights are held and since Samarkand is also a combat sim they do schedule fights or tournaments frequently. Come dice il nome, l'Arena è la lotta contro cui combatte o sono detenuti e Samarcanda, poiché è anche una lotta contro la sim che fanno lotte calendario o tornei di frequente. I wanted to know how to join or enter the fights but I didn’t find any information about it. Volevo sapere come aderire o immettere le lotte, ma non ho trovato informazioni su di esso. Samarkand’s Arena is located 700 meters above the ground and it’s not that big. Samarcanda's Arena è situato a 700 metri sopra il livello del suolo e non è che grande.

The Silkroad is, if I’m not mistaken, Samarkand’s Dance Club. Il Silkroad è, se non mi sbaglio, Samarcanda's Dance Club. There’sa Dance Ball hanging down the ceiling and 2 contest boards (I assume its for male and female contestants) on the wall. C'è Dance Ball appeso il soffitto e 2 tavole concorso (presumo per il suo maschio e femmina concorrenti) sulla parete. I guess the residents of Samarkand loves to party after a bloody battle at the Arena. Immagino che i residenti di Samarcanda ama partito dopo una sanguinosa battaglia presso l'Arena. LOL!

Other Stuff Altro

While I was at the Silkroad, I noticed some floating objects below it. Mentre ero a Silkroad, ho notato alcuni oggetti galleggianti al di sotto di essa. Using my camera controls, I panned and zoomed in to it and there I found floating structures. Utilizzando la mia macchina fotografica controlli, panoramica e ingrandito ad essa e vi ho trovato strutture galleggianti. Well, floating homes and skyboxes have their special uses so I’ll just let you decide what those floating places were for. Ebbene, case galleggianti e skyboxes hanno i loro usi speciali così I'll appena ti permettono di decidere quali quelle galleggianti sono stati posti.

Samarkand is a very nice looking sim and if you are looking for an RP/Combat sim then you should give Samarkand a visit. Samarcanda è molto piacevole e sim se siete alla ricerca di uno RP / Combat sim allora si dovrebbe dare una visita Samarcanda. My impression, from reading their notecards, is that Samarkand is very strict in their RP but I haven’t seen anyone there to see how strict their RP really is. La mia impressione, dalla lettura notecards loro, è che Samarcanda, è molto rigorosa nella loro RP, ma non ho visto nessuno lì per vedere come la loro rigorosa RP è in realtà. Anyway, if you are there then just follow the rules and you’ll be okay. Comunque, se ci sono poi basta seguire le regole e ti verrà corretto. I’m sure the owners of Samarkand are not the type who eject and ban people just for kicks. Sono sicuro che i proprietari di Samarcanda non sono il tipo che di espulsione e di divieto di persone solo per calci. LOL!
