Well, Linden Labs recently released a new First Look Viewer (FLV) named Dazzle and sad to say I was not Dazzled at all. Ebbene, Linden Labs recentemente rilasciato una nuova First Look Viewer (FLV) denominato Dazzle e triste a dire che non è stato abbagliato a tutti. The Dazzle FLV introduced a new color scheme for the viewer’s GUI and although it is an improvement to the regular viewer’s GUI but please it was far from Dazzling. Il Dazzle FLV introdotto una nuova combinazione di colori per gli spettatori GUI e che, sebbene sia un miglioramento della regolare il visualizzatore GUI ma per favore si è ben lungi dall'essere abbagliante. I admit that I like it but it will take more than that to Dazzle me, in fact, OnRez’s Second Life viewer has a more Dazzling GUI, at least for me it is. Ammetto che mi piace, ma ci vorranno più di Dazzle che a me, infatti, OnRez's Second Life visualizzatore ha una interfaccia grafica più abbagliante, almeno per me lo è.

Last February 5, 2008 there was a skin theft protest at a mall in Scapoli. 5 febbraio scorso, 2008 vi è stata una protesta pelle furto in un centro commerciale a Scapoli. Out of curiousity, I went to take a look at an actual skin theft protest. Di curiosità, sono andato a dare un'occhiata alla pelle un vero e proprio furto di protesta. An avatar named Thora Charron was there with a huge sign above her head. Un avatar di nome Thora Charron è stato lì con un enorme segno sopra la testa. The sign had the words “stop stealing my work” written on it. Il segno aveva le parole "smettere di rubare il mio lavoro" scritto su di esso. A few other personalities were also there but what caught my attention were two avatars, a male and female, wearing a plain white texture as their skin with the words “I’d rather go naked than wear stolen skins”. I was going through the Second Life Blogosphere when a particular issue caught my attention. Stavo attraverso il Second Life Blog quando un particolare problema catturato la mia attenzione. That issue is about Stolen Skins (or textures). Tale questione è di circa Stolen Skins (o texture). Texture (skins are just textures) theft has always been a big problem in Second Life and many designers, specially the popular ones, have had their textures stolen and sold at very low prices. Texture (pelli sono solo texture) furto è sempre stato un grande problema in Second Life e molti designer, specialmente le popolari, hanno avuto il loro trame rubati e venduti a prezzi molto bassi. This is very unfair for the designers because creating an original texture, specially an original skin, is a very difficult process. Questo è molto ingiusto per i progettisti, perché la creazione di un originale trama, un originale appositamente pelle, è un processo molto difficile. I know how hard it is because I tried creating my own skin once. So quanto sia difficile, perché ho cercato di creare la mia pelle una volta.
