The first time I read it I asked myself, “What?”, because I read it in a wrong way. I read it like “avatar, who cares?” which has a totally different meaning (a negative meaning for that matter). I finally understood it after re-reading it again. It means “avatars that care”. LOL!
I received the announcement from my Second Life friend, Isadora Fiddlesticks, through the Filipino group. It seems that she is planning to recognize those avatars that had made a change in Second Life or had contributed to some extent in various fields like business, fashion, arts, etc. or those avatars that are just simply helpful. These avatars will be featured in the December Issue of HodgePodge.
So, if you want to help her out just IM her your nominations or post your nominations at HodgePodge’s blog.
Off Topic: The title, “Avatars who care”, made me remember EXTELCOM’s1 Tag Line (EXTELCOM, We Care). Darn, I can even hear the jingle playing in my head. LOL!

hahaha…there are a couple of nominees already for my list…and i hve my own…of course, i cannot rely on my own..in the vast world of second life, cannot rely on oneself to do such a list, or else everyone will feel left out.

“AVATARS WHO CARE” would be a nice idea for a group who want to create something different in SL.
i know a lot of avatars in SL who should be honoured and mentioned for their behaviour in SL.
being a member of such a group should help you/me correct yourself/myself in the daily issues of SL… but maybe too much work?

[...] is out and in this issue there is a section titled “Avatars Who Care”. I blogged about it last November, 2007 and I kinda read it the wrong way too. [...]
