Last month I was contacted by Ms. Diane Reyes of Game! No mês passado, fui contactado pela Sra. Diane Reyes de jogo! Magazine but prior to that I was asked by Ms. Eva Gubat, Editorial Manager of Game! Magazine, mas antes de que me foi solicitado pela Sra. Gubat Eva, Editorial Gerente do jogo! Magazine, by e-mail if I would like to be a member of their writing pool. Magazine, por e-mail se eu gostaria de ser um membro da sua escrita piscina. I said to myself, if they think my writing is good enough for their magazine then why not so I told her yes. Eu disse para mim mesmo, se eles acham que a minha escrita é suficientemente bom para a sua revista, então por que não então eu disse-lhe sim.

As I’ve said, Ms. Diane, who is an Editorial Assistant, contacted me and asked if I’m willing to take on a writing assignment and guess what, the topic was Second Life . Como eu disse, Sra. Diane, que é um assistente editorial, contactou-me e perguntou se eu estou disposto a assumir a escrever uma cessão e adivinhem, o tema foi Second Life. I accepted the assignment and she gave me a week to write the story. Eu aceito a cessão e ela deu-me uma semana para escrever a história. It was my first time writing for a nationally syndicated magazine and it’s scaring the crap out of me. Foi minha primeira vez a escrever para uma revista nacionalmente sindicado e é assustar o crap fora de mim.

A few days later, I finished the story and you won’t believe how many times I read it just to make sure it’s okay. Alguns dias mais tarde, eu acabado a história e você não vai acreditar quantas vezes eu leia-o apenas para se certificar de que não há problema. I also revised it a few times before submitting it to Ms. Diane. Eu também revisto mais algumas vezes antes de enviá-lo a Sra. Diane. You know, a few tweaks here and there. Você sabe, alguns ajustes aqui e ali. The story will be on the December - January Issue of Game! A história será sobre a dezembro - janeiro Emissão de jogo! Magazine.

On January 10, 2008 the December-January Issue of Game! Em 10 de janeiro de 2008 a dezembro de janeiro Emissão de jogo! Magazine finally hit the newsstands. Revista finalmente acertar o newsstands. I tried to get a copy but unfortunately it wasn’t available in any bookstores here in our city. Eu tentei obter um exemplar, mas infelizmente ela não estava disponível em qualquer livrarias aqui em nossa cidade. Even the 7-11 store here don’t have it. Mesmo a loja 7-11 aqui não tem ele. I tried again today to look for a copy but just like last time I didn’t find any. Tentei novamente hoje para procurar uma cópia, mas apenas como última vez que não encontramos nenhum.

Since, I can’t get a copy, I just asked Ms. Diane if she can spare me even just the cover of the magazine. Uma vez, eu não posso obter uma cópia, eu só Sra. Diane perguntou se ela pode me poupo mesmo só a capa da revista. I told her that their site is down that’s why I can’t get it from there. Eu disse a ela que seu site está baixo e é por isto que eu não possa obtê-lo de lá. She sent me a really big copy of the cover. Ela enviou-me de facto um grande exemplar da cobertura. It was big but it’s not of high quality. Foi grande mas não é de alta qualidade. It was blurry so what I did is reduced the size to make it more sharper. Foi o que fiz de forma indistinta é reduzido o tamanho para se tornar mais nítida.

This issue of Game! Esta questão do Jogo! Magazine coincides with this year’s Philippine Online Gaming Summit which was held last January 13, 2008. Revista coincide com o deste ano da Philippine Online Gaming Cimeira que se realizou último 13 de janeiro de 2008. The magazine served as the ticket to the event. A revista serviu como os bilhetes para o evento. I really wanted to go but my current condition and the on-going Coco Festival here in our city prevented me from going but Chino Yalin , a Filipino Second Life Celeb, was there and he took some nice photos of the event too. Eu realmente queria ir, mas a minha atual condição e sobre o curso de Coco Festival aqui em nossa cidade me impediu de ir, mas Chino Yalin, um filipino Celeb Second Life, e foi aí que ele teve alguns nice fotos do evento também.
