PC Realm (Peace Country Realm) is a free RunUO powered server, utilizing the Ultima Online client. I forgot how I found it but since I’ve always wanted to try Ultima Online since the first day UO was launched but never got the chance because of the game’s cost. Now, I can get to try it for free through PC Realm.

The first thing I did was do Lothar’s Quest for beginners and here I met Onyx, a GM/Admin/Guide, who helped me through the quest and he also guided me a little further. Showing me some stuff I needed to learn. He also gave me a magical horse which he colored red. Now, that horse, named Kabayo (tagalog for horse), is bonded to me and will no longer disappear even if I die although I need to resurrect him too. I got an entire Apprentice Equipment Set from doing Lothar’s Quest which would be very useful during my journey in PC Realm. Many thanks to Onyx.

Onyx left me at a dungeon where I can train my skills. By the way, he also gave me tips on fighting and stuff. Back in the dungeon, I stopped my monster killing because all my bandages were used up. Bandages are very important to a warrior. Potions are cool too but you need a free hand to use it so I kinda prefer bandages over potions but my problem now is finding where to buy them bandages.

I also died twice but because I’m still a newbie I did not lose anything but once my “young” status is over, dying is something I should not try to do, hehehehehe!

During my wandering around the town of Moonglow (it’s the newbie town) I found the bankers and opening my bank box I found some goodies like a 50,000 bank check and an item to install a house (I forgot what its called). I took the house tool out and tried to place a house in the nearby area but it won’t let me. I kept on looking for a spot to place my house in Moonglow until I accidentally entered a Moongate that brought me to Luna Community. I noticed that there were many houses in Luna so I picked a spot and tried the house tool again and my house was placed. It’s just a small house with very limited space but still it’s mine.

Onyx told me that the game world is huge and it’s easy to get lost so I think I’m just going to stay at Moonglow for a little longer. Below are a few screenshots!
