Be Smart, Be With Smorty

In my search to find ways to earn a few dollars from my blogs I stumbled upon Smorty. Smorty provides a service where advertisers can connect through bloggers and advertise their products or services with them.

These advertisers will then create an opportunity which bloggers can accept and after accepting the opportunity, bloggers will then create a post on their blogs informing or introducing, and yes even reviewing, the advertisers’ product, service and even website. This setup or process is oftentimes called blog advertising.

Advertisers have been using blogs as a medium to advertise their products or services for years and with companies like Smorty, connecting advertisers with bloggers just got easier.

  • Only on this wall. No Floor Displays
  • 2 Posters / Displays
  • 1 prim each
  • Limit two per Advertiser

Size (see the template, take a copy of it)

Z = 1.80

  • The Display must be aligned with the others or I will return it to you. (Lined both side by side , above and below)
  • NO FLOATING TEXT
  • You are allowed 2 Displays
  • You can use your own vendor or a vendor of your choice. If you don’t have one IM Justin Slade
  • No group to join, but the Displays will be deleted every Tuesday at 12 noon PST. (I won’t start this until the room is full)
  • You MUST return to redisplay your Merchandise

  • New Advertisers will be charged 20L$/Week

Where are they now?

During my first weeks in Second Life I met some Filipino ((Filipino, residents/citizens/people born and raised in the Philippines whose father and mother are Filipinos)) SL residents. Most of them were newbies like me but there were some that were not so newbie anymore. Where are they now specially the newbies? I have them on my friends list but I never see them online anymore. I know there are many Filipinos in SL but I’m more interested to those who are just starting and feeling their way around because it’s really hard to get established in SL without any support from anyone. I should know! I started at zero and yet I haven’t gotten very far but what keeps me going is that I enjoy whatever I am doing in SL. (more…)
