metaLIFE just recently made a very bold decision about the commission they take from merchants on items listed and sold in their online marketplace. As posted in their blog, metaLIFE will now stop taking commissions from web sales or from sales made in their online marketplace. This simply means that merchants will now get 100% of their money if an item they are selling or has listed for sale gets sold in the marketplace.
While XstreetSL.com is adding listing fees to get an item listed, metaLIFE is removing them instead. While XstreetSL.com is out to get more money from their merchants, metaLIFE is literally reducing and giving away their share to their merchants. (more…)

For those who are not familiar with Entrecard, well, Entrecard gives bloggers the opportunity to advertise on other Entrecard member blogs for FREE! It’s free because Entrecard uses its own currency which is called Entrecard Credit (EC) and this is what members use to pay for the ads.

I’ve been a member for sometime now and, it seems that, I’ve gathered a few thousand entrecard credits already. I can always use these credits to buy ads on other blogs but I think it would be better to give them away in a very simple contest. How simple? Read on! (more…)

First Opinions Panel is a great source of earning Linden Dollars for your Second Life. For those not familiar to First Opinions Panel, it is a survey/research group in Second Life and it pays residents for answering surveys. To participate, you must first become a member and you can do that by signing-up here.
Members are paid 500L$, even more, per survey. Unfortunately for me, I don’t get that many survey invites. It must be because my profile doesn’t match any of their clients survey requirements but that doesn’t stop me from earning Linden Dollars from them.

I’ve already posted this before the defacement of this blog but since it was lost after the restoration and I can’t find any cached version of the original post, I have no choice but to rewrite and repost it. As I have previously posted, I went to get a copy of The SL News Stand which was supposed to be at EDGEWATER SHOPPING CENTER MALL at ASI Seychelles region but when I got there, the kiosk that was supposed to give copies of The SL News Stand was nowhere to be found. Instead, I found two camping benches near the landmark beacon and inside the shop where the benches were located was a free hair for women. (more…)

Wow! After this blog was defaced by some people you’d think everything will be fine afterwards, right? NOOOOO!!! Today, I received an e-mail from Linden Labs informing me that my Rom Ireton account was suspended for disturbing the peace at LiaisonLand.
“The violation in question occurred on January 30, 2008 in the region of LiaisonLand.”
