Virtual Conference Explores New Frontiers in Language Learning

I received an e-mail today from Howard Vickers of AvatarLanguages.com regarding SLanguages 2008. What is SLanguages 2008? SLanguages 2008 is a 24-hour multilingual conference to celebrate and investigate the use of 3D virtual worlds for language education. Party Foods For Your Eyes

If you think about it, foods and drinks are not needed in Second Life because avatars don’t need to eat anything but I guess these objects are always good for adding some realism to your setup in-world. For example, I went back to visit the venue for the Paskong Pinoy event in Second Life and the first object I noticed on the buffet table is the Lechon.
