It’s December once again and that means Christmas is just around the corner. It also means shopping, gift giving, parties and lots of food. I love everything about Christmas. In fact, it’s my favorite day of the year (next to my birthday, of course). Now, Christmas is also observed inside the virtual world of Second Life and sooner or later thousands of residents will roam around the grid to do their Christmas shopping and because of that I have listed some of the Shops found at [The Roman Empire] sim.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I personally believe that shopping is one of the more popular activities in Second Life. I always encounter people talking about shopping for new hair, new skin, new shoes, new clothes, new homes and other items. Like in one occasion, I met a few people at my place and we had a little chat when suddenly one of them asked the other for a landmark to an avatar shop. Afterwards they all left and went shopping for demo hairs.

Well, I do a little shopping myself but most of the time I do my shopping for Second Life items online through SLExchange and sometimes in Shop.OnRez. I find shopping for Second Life items through these websites easier and faster because they have an accurate search feature which makes searching for the item you need or want easy. (more…)

Today, I visited Sailing Empires. It is an empire under RPG Empires specially built for sea battles. It is made up of two sims which are all water except for a few land masses or islands. The main island is where the landing area is and it is also where you’ll find everything that you’ll need to know about Sailing Empires.

You’ll notice that my avatar is always wearing the same attire in some, if not most, of my screenshots. That’s because fashion and style are not really my thing, even in real life. For me, I don’t need to wear expensive or branded or fashionable things to look good. You know why? Because I am already good looking! LOL!
