Today I received a group message from First Opinions Panel regarding their new survey which if qualified you’ll be invited to a focus group that will pay $100USD. So I copied and pasted the URL into my browser’s address field and got ready to answer some survey questions but unfortunately after selecting the region where I am located the next screen presented me with the dreaded “not qualified” message. Aw, that sucks!

Anyway, those who did not qualify will be entered in a draw that will give them a chance to win 1000L$ (but I want $100USD, hehehehe).

After reading the e-mail, I went in-world to take some copies of the ATMs. I will put them at 3 Stars and a Sun and maybe put 1 at Monkey Canning’s Mini Mall in Parallax.

During my first weeks in Second Life I met some Filipino SL residents. Most of them were newbies like me but there were some that were not so newbie anymore. Where are they now specially the newbies? I have them on my friends list but I never see them online anymore. Come to think of it, there’s no such thing as Free Linden Dollars. Everything we do in Second Life or even in Real Life we have to work for it.

Camping for Free Linden Dollars (L$)

Actually, it’s not FREE L$. When you CAMP, whether it be dance camping or zone camping or whatever form of camping that is, the owner of the place is paying you a certain rate just to stay at his place long enough to raise his TRAFFIC and staying much longer will give him more traffic thus placing him higher in SEARCH. So, you are being paid for the traffic you give to the place. In essence you are working for your L$ and this is true to all kinds of camping. Owners pay you for the traffic you give.

Earn Free Lindens for doing Surverys

Again, it’s not FREE L$ because you actually have to work for it by doing online surverys. You’ll have to go online and fill up a survey form to get paid. Isn’t that working? Unless you can fill up forms by just thinking about it but even if you can do that you are still working. LOL!

Earn2Life, Free Lindens for Completing Offers

The same as above! You go online and complete offers but this one is much easier and faster (IMHO) but to get paid you’ll have to complete those offers and that is definitely doing some WORK!

Same as the 2 above. You get paid for completing surveys and if that is not work then I don’t know what it is anymore. Ha ha ha!

You are not getting FREE linden dollars! You are actually working for every L$ they give you so don’t be ashamed or embarrassed especially if you are a camper. So, enough of that FREE L$ stuff. There is no such thing unless of course you give me L$ for doing nothing. LOL!
