Impromptu Maypole Party

A couple of days ago I got a group notice from [The Roman Empire] about an OOC Maypole Party in-front of the Roman Colosseum. What the heck is a Maypole? My curiosity made me teleport to The Roman Empire to see for myself. There, I saw in-front of the Colosseum, a group of people on a spinning Maypole but, unfortunately, that did not answer my question. According to Google a Maypole is a vertical pole or post decorated with streamers that can be held by dancers celebrating May Day. Hmmm… May Day? It’s only January!!! Ha ha ha!

Anyway, it was an impromptu event. I guess the Empress got bored and decided to throw a Maypole party just for fun and, I can say just by looking at them, that they were having lots of fun with it. (more…)

OOC Christmas Party and Sim Wall

[The Roman Empire] sim had their Christmas Party last December 23, 2008 and I went there, not to mingle or socialize but, to take snapshots of the event.

There were many people on the sim that day and it was really laggy. The people and objects around me took a few minutes to fully rezz and after it rezzed I was not sure if everything did rezz. (more…)

A visit to ADC’s Office

If my understanding is correct about Slam-X then the ADC Office is Slam-X’s home office. So, I took my camera crew which is composed by me and went to ADC’s Office in Second Life.

I also noticed at Slam-X’s website that the word “in-world” links to their Second Life referral ID. I think it would be better to link the word “in-world” to Slam-X’s in-world office than Second Life and if they want to link to their referral ID then link it with “Second Life”. I think this will make much more sense but unfortunately I’m just an observer.

The Otso, 8L$ and below

These past few days, members and merchants of [SLExchange] had argued and debated with each other. The subject of the debate was Anshe Chung’s 10Linden brand and the sudden appearance of a new category in [SLExchange] exclusively for her 10Linden brand. The category was immediately removed by the admins after getting so much heat from the [SLExchange] community. (more…)
