The latest issue of HodgePodge Magazine is out and in this issue there is a section titled “Avatars Who Care”. I blogged about it last November, 2007 and I kinda read it the wrong way too. LOL!
A brief info of what “Avatars Who Care” is, it’s about recognizing those avatars who had contributed to some extent in various fields like business, fashion, arts, etc. It’s supposed to be published in the December issue of HodgePodge but it was moved to January. Anyway, I was at my place when I noticed that the vendor Isadora sent through the Filipino group wasn’t working. Checking past group notices, I found out that she sent a working replacement so, I took that and replaced the non-working vendor. Of course, I took a copy and besides it’s FREE! Just a few hours ago, I was shocked to find this blog defaced by some people. I immediately informed BlueHost about it and they immediately restored my entire account to a previous backup. Yes, the restoration process made me lose a few post in some of my blogs but I guess that was the best way to correct what has been done to the blog.
A new group notice regarding the event was sent today by Fooballer Balut. I was a little bit surprised about the announcement because it used the term Filipino Christmas Sim. Surprised and amazed. Wow! An entire sim?! Well, it’s not really an entire sim. My bad! LOL!
The Filipino Second Life Community will have a Christmas Celebration in-world, Pinoy style! The preparation is being spearheaded by Isadora Fiddlesticks, publisher of HodgePodge Magazine.
Before, I thought that I would never buy a new skin but I was wrong. Today, I found myself shopping for a new skin and using Second Life’s new search tool I went from one store to another. My budget for a new skin was only 2,000L$ and I told myself that I would not spend anything more than that. I found some shops that sell skins for only 500L$ and another for 700L$. I even saw some that were selling at 250L$ to 350L$ but I didn’t buy from them because many of them looked copied.

Thoy's SL (Second Life) Bot Works!!! Again, I got very curious about this little tool and decided to shell out 2000 L$ for it but before I registered a bot and bought it I kinda pestered Thoys first with lots of questions
