I learned today that RPG Empire will soon close the Empire of France sim. Unfortunately, the sim was never active. It remained inactive and idle upto this day. I’ve been there a few times and I’ve never met anyone there except for the Queen. I remember that the sim tried to look for roleplayers to fill up various positions but I guess none applied.

Goodbye Empire of France
The sim also remained underdeveloped with only a few things here and there. I guess development is limited by the limits imposed by the sim itself. I think what mikeD can do is, rather than having multiple Open Space sims as empires, it would be better to have another full sim like The Roman Empire and The Spartan Empire. Both empires are really doing great with continous activity throughout the day. [...continue reading Goodbye Empire of France]

A few days ago Medieval England celebrated their first Harvest Faire (I think it was their first) and I was their to enjoy the festivities. The Harvest Faire was a two day all day event with games, prizes and barrels of ale for everyone to enjoy.

Me @Medieval England
I was more of a spectator than a participant on the first day of the event. I spent most of my day just watching the games and taking snapshots of the activities. Unfortunately, some of my snapshots did not get uploaded. I was uploading my snapshots by sending them by e-mail to Flickr. Flickr then crossposted them to my Blogger blog but Flickr was not able to save a few of them. It must be because of lag or something. [...continue reading Fun at the Harvest Faire]

Medevil? I guess it’s supposed to be Medieval England because the latter is the name of the place although the sim’s name is Medevil England. Anyway, Medevil or Medieval England it doesn’t really matter, what matter is that it’s a region under RPG Empires in Second Life.

Medieval England
Medieval England is ruled by Enrich Halasy (former Emperor of Rome) together with her partner PhillipaKate Beresford. Currently, both them are away tending to some RL (real life) matters but that didn’t stop the activities and events in Medieval England. [...continue reading A Sim Named Medevil England]

The I LOVE M.E. (Medevil England) was a big success in my book. The number of people who came to participate was very encouraging. I did not participate in any of the games but I did stay and watched all of it. I stayed in a corner so that I won’t get in their way and just used my camera to pan and zoom around.

Chandu Dreslet, Tournament Master
The I Love M.E. Tournament is made up of 3 games and they are Jousting, Archery and Melee Fighting. Participants will compete in all of the games and the overall winners will be awarded with Linden Dollars and some really cool items from a special sponsor whom I forgot who (sorry about that, bad memory). The Tournament Master assigned was Chandu Dresler and I believe he did a great job at it. [...continue reading I LOVE Medevil England (Medieval England)]
