During my first weeks in Second Life I met some Filipino ((Filipino, residents/citizens/people born and raised in the Philippines whose father and mother are Filipinos)) SL residents. Most of them were newbies like me but there were some that were not so newbie anymore. Where are they now specially the newbies? I have them on my friends list but I never see them online anymore. I know there are many Filipinos in SL but I’m more interested to those who are just starting and feeling their way around because it’s really hard to get established in SL without any support from anyone. I should know! I started at zero and yet I haven’t gotten very far but what keeps me going is that I enjoy whatever I am doing in SL. (more…)
