Winter Fell Photo Contest

Koinup has a new photo contest where you can win as much as 5,000L$. The contest is called Winter Fell Photo Contest and “it is about capturing the beauty of the winter season in a snow covered Winterfell. Winter Landscapes, Winter decorations, Christmas Trees, Winter costumes and generally everything that can be related to the Winter and the Holiday Season is eligible”.

The contest is open to everyone who has a Second Life and Koinup account. Having an account with Koinup is necessary because you will need to submit your entries in the Winter Fell Photo Contest group. If you still don’t have an account with Koinup then sign-up for one. 5,000L$ Poster/Photo Contest

A few days ago, the Empress of Rome sent a notice throughout the empire inviting both Romans and Non-Romans to participate in a Poster/Photo Contest. The winner of the contest will receive 5,000L$ and the runner-up will get 1,000L$. The theme of the photos to be used or entered in the contest must be related to Rome. I wanted to enter the contest but, unfortunately, I was busy with my real life work and had no time to prepare or even login to Second Life.

Nope! This is not an entry. The entries are those behind my avatar! LOL!

Submission of entries are now close and the poster/photos are now on display near the Colosseum. The winner will be decided by voting for your favorite poster/photo entries. To vote for your favorite poster/photo entries you must pay it at least 20L$. I don’t think there is a limit to the number of votes you can cast. My guess is, if you have the money to burn then you can vote and vote and vote for your favorite or favorites. (more…)

Join Earn2Life’s Photo Contest

Recently, Earn2Life launched there very first Photo Contest in Second Life entitled “Live Nature of the Digital World.” The contest is open to all Earn2Life members so if you are not yet a member of Earn2Life then now is a good time to join.

The contest will run from May 1, 2008 to June 15, 2008 but entries will only be accepted from May 1, 2008 to May 15, 2008. So, you still have a few more days to take some photos and enter the contest. (more…)
