I went to [The Roman Empire] today to possibly participate in their Free For All fight but I was a bit late because when I got there the fight was already over. I stayed for a few minutes to look around the Colosseum and while I was looking around I saw a female avatar with a pair of really big boobs. I’ve seen hundreds of female avatars with really big boobs but hers were the biggest that I’ve seen so far.

Anyway, this past few days I noticed that I was not getting any Group Notices from The Roman Empire. At first I thought that maybe one of the officers had kicked me out of the group but that was not the case. I am still a member of the group SL Roman Empire. I did notice that my Roman Noble title was no longer in the Title Drop List and that the titles available to me now are *ROMAN GLADIATOR* and *ROMAN PLEBEIAN*. The first day of the 100,000L$ Bitter Thorns was held at The Spartan Empire sim last September 13, 2008 and I was there to witness a few of the fights and to take some snapshots, of course. Registration for that day’s tournament started at 8:00AM SLT (Second Life Time) and ended at exactly 11:00AM SLT. Fighters and warriors from other sims, even outside of [RPG Empire], came to participate. Even my friend Boying Ansar and fellow fisherman Magos Destiny registered to fight.

I didn’t participate in the tournament but I did watch a few matches. The fights were held in The Spartan Empire’s arena but the fighters were asked to stay in The Roman Empire’s coliseum. They were to be summoned to The Spartan Empire when it was their time to fight. This strategy greatly reduced the amount of lag which usually accompanies huge events like this one! I went to Scotland Highlands to witness the appointment of two Generals but when I got there it was already over. I was about to go back home when someone shouted that a tournament was about to begin and everyone was invited to participate or watch the fight at the Arena.

RPG Empires will be holding an all-RPG Empires sim tournament and the winner will receive a huge prize and be awarded the title of RPG Empires Grand Champion.

Eventhough, it’s an all-RPG Empires tournament, mikeD Streeter (owner of RPG Empires) mentioned that it will be OPEN to everyone. Those not affiliated with any of RPG Empires many empires will be grouped together.

Yesterday, I spent my free time at Sparta watching the fight against the Minotaur. I also took some clips of the fight for my new Second Life show, Arena Wars. The idea for the show came to me while I was paging through the many group notices that I receive everyday and are sent to my e-mail from The Roman Empire, The Spartan Empire, Samurai Japan, Egyptian Empire and Medevil England which are all under RPG Empires.

Most of the notices contain announcements about fights and tournaments on that particular empire or sim. With so many fights and tournaments happening around the sims of RPG Empires, I asked myself, why not build a Second Life show around it? From there, Arena Wars was born. This week, I had the chance to visit mikeD Streeter’s latest Role Play region/sim in Second Life, the land called Samurai Japan. Obviously, Samurai Japan is a region greatly inspired by ancient Japan, although, I’m not particularly sure what time period was it actually based on but I can safely say that it’s based on a  very old Japan. You know, that period in time when Samurais and Ninjas exist, where people live and die by the sword and where code and honor is above everything else.

I learned about Samurai Japan from a group announcement sent through The Roman Empire group (SL Roman Empire) which is also a owned by mikeD Streeter. The group notice contained a landmark that took me to Samurai Japan. [...continue reading The Land Called Samurai Japan]
